It's not free. People invest their own money on ICO  because they can see the massive gains when they know it's going to be successful. I think the scammers behind a fake ICO are the ones who get free money.

not as you think, although I admit, ico project is potentially a scam. and infestations on ico are more at risk than buying altcoins in exchange.

No! Of course no. It's true, right now there is enough projects with weak team or even which doesn't have real roadmap.
But stil it's not a Ponzi. Most of the major ICO have a real ambition and intention to make a unique product.
As for small ICO...there is no need to participate in it.

I agree with you. Most of the ICO's are fake and scam, they want to take the investors money and fade away, without being chased or anything, that is why they are still doing this. But there are few of them which want to develop something, to create, to change, to inspire and to earn a lot more by knowing everyone about them, but they are few as i said. We hope to invest only in them, but will see.

if you're referring to scam sellers, well it's case with many of them. But not all of them, so don't generilize. Rather be clever and find the real projects that can succeed
