I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.

Some of them are and some of them are scam ICO but there are still a legit project and not only a pump and dump coins or what you call a modern day ponzi, due diligence is necessary to check if the ico can set up their platform or their roadmap is really attainable

no i don't agree with you.i know find a legit ico is really hard task.but if we find good&legit ICO definitely we earn good profit.many successful investors earn good profit with ico invesment.search company background,social media activity,CEO background,management team & it's activeness, ICO trust level then invest in ICO sure you earn good profit.but no one knows what will happened in future.
