You need to see things clearly not all ICO's are fake or scam some ICO just didn't make it to the market to be produce or supported. ICO initial coin offering is a way of the project to gain some help/money from investors that like the idea of their project since not all have that money to support or released their own project/product. To many ICO right now and some of them is have real product but there are also just white paper without any product, so important now to make invest in ICO that has working product already or minimum viable product

I think that ISO is a very good way to attract attention to its project of investors, as well as all who it may be interested in. Yes, at the moment, the situation is very unstable. I agree that ICO is a new way to get a extra money but not free money at all, bounty hunters are doing their part in promoting their ICOs in hoping to receive their rewards after the ICOs. That's not easy on the part of the bounty hunters as they has no assurance that the developer will not run after the ICOs. You have to ask first the bounty managers that are really reliable about that there are many bounty managers that are not scam and they are really starting a great ico, they have a great company and by that you can join some of them |

You have to invest your money into ICOs to earn a return so how is it free money? Also you are right in thinking that ICOs are nothing short of ponzi schemes currently and most of the projects aren't even able to develop a working product and just here to grab as much money they can from newbies.

HYIPs are the modern ponzis. They are sites promising you unreasonable daily gains that can never actually be sustained. Sadly too many people fall into these traps on hopes of becoming rich overnight.

It is true that some scammers are taking advantage of the ICO boom. If you read company whitepapers and check out team members. As well as ask the right questions, you can weed out the scams from the real companies wanting to make a difference.

Yes, i think but not all the ICO, because some ICO now gets fail, some ICO not reached their hard cap or not reach the funds, so i think it is not a new way to get free money because working here in forum is also a hard work, so i cannot say that ICO's now is not a new way to get free money. |

I think you are generalizing because is not all the ICO that is scam. I participated in INXT and it was backed by a product of internet provision and today INXT is selling in the market at $50 from an ICO price of less than a dollar. There are a lot of other ico that did well and still doing well in the market after their crowdfunding.

In a sense, it is. But you can't call it completely free. If you're an investor, you take a risk and it's not always reasonable. If you are a member of the bounty, you are wasting your time and resources. This is in a sense analogous to employment.

To agree. From 10 ICO only 4 to 5 would succeed in the market. We can't assume that all ICO it the scheme Ponzi, and the few from them are good that can give you the free coins performing some tasks of a campaign for them. Check their road map and the white book to understand more about the prospects and also to check the potential in the current business and reputation in it. There is several badge where people have earned a lot of money through them, hope that they have confirmed these or can be good luck factor.
