You have to be trolling.

I can see why you would think that, but no. Not trolling. They've had a rough time getting to this point. I never had a problem with Butterfly Labs until a certain someone dumped all over this community with his outrageous personality.

Remember, I did invest ~$4,600 with them, after all.

$4600.. is that all? weak sauce.

WHY THE *F* is everyone complaining about the lack of a power brick?! Seriously?!  Your least complaint should be anything but the power brick.. let alone the fact that it's been almost a year since the first single ship.  *SMH*

Trollers will be trollers... sigh.

At least if you get the 50 GH now you can still have a chance to break even provided you commission it asap.   For those who are waiting months down the row, they will never have a good chance for ROI

I skimmed through the thread and didn't see any posts explaining why it's a 50 GH model and not a 60 GH.

Hardly anyone speaks English on this forum.

This kind of angers me... BFL gives promoters the items out of line.

I have the absolute first SC Single order (#1656), and not even a shipping notification yet.

Orders start before 1600.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Orders start before 1600.

Months ago, a BFL employee confirmed that I was the first order. Humans make mistakes, sure, but I really wish you as a company would be a little more straight-forward, forthcoming, and transparent.

No hard feelings, Josh. I know you do your best  Wink

Any idea who sent you that info?  I'm not sure why they would have said that... but it may have been during the transition from our old system to our new system. This is why it's hard to hire temp employees.

I hope you don't get screwed out of that high auction price.  I lost faith in eBay instantly once I started looking for bitcoin related items there.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.

I would be infuriated if I was told I was first in the queue and then saw 'my' product in someone elses hands. Surely this deserves an apology.

I hope you receive your units soon Garr.

Even I have to side with BFL and call BS on the apology request.

If BFL apologized for everything worthy of an apology they wouldn't get any work done.

I'm not asking for an apology. I'm asking for the product I ordered Tongue

BFL have such a terrible reputation, mainly due to the fact they are rude to customers, and make up excuses. Funny isn't it, that comment fits the bill exactly! First Josh says "I'm not sure why they would have said that..." insinuating that Garr is lying. Then Josh decides to bumble over a few excuses. Classic BFL! If only they could get these simple things right, they wouldn’t have such a backlash. I don’t even know if they mean to do it.

... they wouldn’t have such a backlash ...

... you really don't know the half of it Sad

Things have recently taken a turn for the surreal and unbelievable. I'm not used to picking my own jaw up off the floor. Say what you will about Josh, but the fact that he is now directly responsible for the legal welfare of... someone... is a level of "messed up" I never had a desire to approach.

And this is saying nothing to their ignoring the first salvo of legal demands on our part.

Looks like I'm going to have a road-trip to the Kansas federal courts in the near future  Embarrassed

Yeah they're sure doing a bang up job getting their product assembled and shipped. Maybe at this rate if Josh doesnt have to take too much time out of his busy schedule of screaming profanitys at customers they'll have 10% of their units shipped by 2014
