Activity & new membergroup limits

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:

Group	Requirement
Brand New	0 posts
Newbie	(none)
Jr. Member	activity: 30
Member	activity: 60
Full Member	activity: 120
Sr. Member	activity: 240
Hero Member	activity: 480

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

It seems the Activity updated for me daily in the beginning but now its like in every 2 weeks, any reason for this?

You become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity. It happens at a random number in that range, and every user's random number is different. This thread may be of use to you as well.

Well, just follow the member group limits. At 480 activity, you will be a Hero Member. As to what ColderThanIce pointed, achieving Legendary rank is guaranteed between 775 and 1030 activity. Oh and you said that you have that account since 2011? There is no way to boost your rank into Legendary even though you should be one right now. If you stopped posting on the biweekly periods, then you miss the chance of gaining 14 activity points, and there is no way you can regain those lost activity points by posting too many posts. This is what I like on the member group limits--you cannot game the system even though you've been here since the beginning of this forum.

I would like to know how do we classify an account that have potential?

You're not wrong, but that's not all that there is to it.  At least one post has to be made each fortnight since the account's creation in order to register the account as "active" during that period.  If the account has made at least one post in each of the periods since being created in May 2015, then it would reach Full by September granting enough posts made.  Just to be clear: if 120 posts were made, say, on the first week then the account's activity would only be 14.  Then, if one more post were made yesterday, the account's activity would bump to 28 today.  Do you see how this works?  The formula is given in the OP of this thread.

You should become a hero member this coming Tuesday. I worked my membership upgrade out the other day but have forgotten the exact date now. I think I will become a hero member some time around the New Year. Congratulations in advance for becoming a hero member on Tuesday buddy.

960 activity would be the logical next step for legendary, because

Jr. (30) * 2 = Member (60)
Member (60) * 2 = Full Member (120)
Full Member (120) * 2 = Sr. Member (240)
Sr. Member (240) * 2 = Hr. Member (480)
Hr. Member (480) * 2 = might still be Hero because Legendary is random between 775 and 1030

Hi sir do you have a list if when the activity will update.I was searching in the forum but i dont find it . I think now is activity update but my activity still not update..
