My situation seems wierd to me now)
I created an account in May (60+ days ago),but my activity stopped rising on 42. I was surprised that activity rised at all more then 1 a day.But then I expected it to stop rising somewhere around count 60 But it stopped on number 42.Where I'm wrong?)
Not weird at all man. You're account have a 42 potential activity so it stopped adding activith once your reached 42 posts. https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=1mm3jvIf you didn't failed to posts for atleast once in 2 weeks (which you did) you coul've got a 60+ potential activity but you missed one or two activity date so that leaves you with only 42.

I like the way activity is generated - definitely a good solution to limit spam, yet requires you to be present with enough active input, so that you don't just create account and idle with it to gain status.
Thanks!

The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts) Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.Activity is updated every hour. The new membergroup limits work like this: Group | Requirement | Brand New | 0 posts | Newbie | (none) | Jr. Member | activity: 30 | Member | activity: 60 | Full Member | activity: 120 | Sr. Member | activity: 240 | Hero Member | activity: 480 | Legendary | occurs randomly between 775 and 1030 activity |
I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs. Great to reduce unnecessary spam just inserted to scale the rankings! It should be so in many more places! And thanks 4 the post .

means you can only get 1 point max per day, is there any other possibility to get more activity, what about opening a thread?

Thanks for the information, very useful. An effective way of reducing rank spamming even if it does mean that legendary will take me years!

Hi devs Back when I started here I was a newbie and got maybe 15 or less activity pts. Then I stopped for about 6 months or more so now I'm currently active in posting. Everytime I post here I get some activity points till my activity points became 56 pts. My question is how many weeks will I gain activity again? I last got points about 10 days from now.

Im damn stuck at 28 for over weeks now while being active and posting its getting on my nerves now..
Maximum 14 activity points per 2 week period. No matter how much you must a maximum of 14 activity points. The activity add up is every other Tuesday so providing you've posted 14 times or more you'll be at 42 activity some point tomorrow.

is this still the same? ive been a member a long time but guess i wasnt active, seems i need 120 more posts to be a full member. is this gonna change any time or it will be the same? i was going to apply for the deep onion give away thread and noticed if you have a higher member status then it awards more coins when they do the air drop. i recommend anyone to get involved, only thing is that you need 10 posts a week with one hundred characters each to get the bounty.

Thank you for the one who made this simple explanation very clear and answered my questions well haha. So the activity updates only every 2 weeks. Since I learned about this forum bitcointalk.org, it became my main "social media" site where I always post, comment, participate (of course all are with sense and not just troll post) and I don't see any progress on my activity. I thought something wrong with the activity vs post computation. Hehe

I have seen my activity level change despite it not having been 14 days recently (after a change in activity). Do the rules somehow change for higher activity levels, e.g. do higher tiered members not have to wait 14 days for updates?

Did I got it right? If I have registered 100 days ago and I start posting on day 101 with 101 posts, my activity would become 101?

No, you would likely be banned for spam and your activity would be 14.
