BFL's offer is +-10% of 500Gh/s.

That being said, new minirigs will be using all grade A chips (all 16 cores work on each chip) so each board should be doing 62-64Gh/s which adds up to over 500Gh/s.

Actually I'm pretty sure a flash of the boards in each MR will easily bring them to >500. However, overcoming heat would be a real big problem afaics.

We've (ckolivas or I) not received anything since the Jalapeno we got to make cgminer work on the first version of the SC
(that's how we got cgminer working on the SCs, the day we got the Jalapenos)
All remote access we had for a day or 2 to BFL and gigavps has been Singles
(no singles have arrived either even though we were told a month ago they were sending them that day)

Got dev singles shipped today (on their way but not arrived yet) so I guess that means x-link is only waiting on firmware and the hardware is OK.
I'll get cgminer working on x-link as soon as the firmware is ready (I've written the cgminer code, but it's untested thus no idea about if it works or not)

how would you plug in a complete minirig (3 of these 2 plug units) in a normal house?  How long are the two cords coming out of the units?
If each of the plugs need to be in a separate 15AMP plug, I don't think the two cords will stretch far enough.  You need to re-wire a bit then correct?

If you are only using existing 15A wiring then you will have to find 6 separate circuits to run 3 minirigs.  The cords are most likely 6ft each considering they are from a standard PSU.

If you are going to run these at your home you will most definitely need to run some new power lines. 30A or better.

EDIT: Better yet just do a 240V line (less current overall).

Yes, you see my point.   In a typical house, you do not usually have two separate circuits within 6 feet of each other and the rooms you do, your wife will kill you when you put it there.   I am thinking of the scenario where you want to mine in a big way.   18 avalons are deafening, 3 of these are better but still complex.   Either way you are cutting some drywall and buying some flowers or a much more comfortable couch to sleep on.

Odd, do you have DB ratings on a Minirig to make sure of your claim?

I just finished the 1st half of upgrading my Avalon and it runs quietly at 325Mhz at 45C. It can probably go higher on air cooling but I haven't had much time to mess around with the settings.

If the same fans used from the 1st generation of the Minirig are also used for the ASIC version, then....I don't think you can even come close to calling your story a legitimate claim.

What do you want to know about them?  They draw ~2100 - 2200w between two PSUs, so around 1100w per PSU/circuit.

BFL, KnC and Bitfury are pretty much it.  BFL is the only one shipping miners from stock in any quantity.  You can pre-order from KnC (no stock) and I don't think Bitfury is doing quantity at the moment if they have any in stock at all.

Pretty sure a 22k 500gh/s unit shipped in June was better then a 8k 430-460gh/s unit shipped in September. I didn't do the math, but I'm guessing that BFL came out ahead assuming you got it in June-July when difficulty was still very low. Sure it doesn't make sense to order it now, but that is the reason BFL came out with Monarchs. Plus BitFury 25gh/s h-boards are now $999 instead of $500, so a full kit price doubled to 16k  

Edit: oops! as others pointed out, it was $30k for 1.5TH/s back then. It's Monday... I'm not really thinking straight right now.

It's also a kit, not a complete turn-key system.  BFL is about making mining easy and aesthetically pleasing for everyone, not just for tech nerds like us.

Pretty sure if you ordered the minirig at 22k, meaning you ordered after april 2013, you didn't get them until November. No one paid 22k for a june delivered minirig.
