I think zencash will be the privacy coin of the future. Really working to have a FULL anonymous coin. Superb dev team spread arround the world and focused in the technology first. They lack a bit on markteing issue, but they prefer do things first and announce after. I see this coin over 2000 USD in a couple of years easy. Will be the coin of offshores guys and swiss big accounts.

Stealthcoin (XST)
Simple....it's on Bittrex, they have a good team, and its only $23 Million Marketcap. This should be an EASY 10x by the end of the year....

You're forgetting ZERO, SUMO and last but not least Spectrecoin. Spectrecoin has an interesting roadmap ahead and don't forget. Default stealth adresses, default ring signatures, in-client TOR + OBFS4. Stealth-staking is still to come. So that's at least 2 unique feature (TOR + OBFS4 & stealthstaking) this coin has to offer over al the others.

Monero is the best but also too costly. other coins that can do this at cheaper price but are not yet there to compete with moenro are xpec, verge, sumo, dark btc, intense , shield etc one of these is bound to get better due to more supply and lower price.

Now Monero is the best coin among private coins. It has already become very popular, but it still has a very large potential for growth. But I also like the coin XSPEC
Think also. XMR is one of the best privacy coin. See on team, technology and math model. Not caps and supply only. And they have working awesome project and reputation already not only ICO and promises.

For me I'll voted for monero because monero is the best privacy coin of them all. I have trust in this coin that never been caught.

I think privacy coins are very important in crypto, and hold the true nature and intention of this space. I believe that 2018 will be a big year for privacy based projects.
If you had $10k to invest, where would you spread it in privacy coins and why? Which ones do you think will truly succeed and stand the test of time?
Some options to work with:
Monero Zcash ZenCash Verge Cloak
My vote goes to Monero, but I'm really liking ZenCash.
ZenCash has a low supply and was recently hyped up on the Palm Beach Confidential newsletter and is a full blown privacy platform. Monero seems to me like a very strong currency with excellent standards for privacy, and a relatively low supply. I can see both of these coins in the $1000+ price.
I would pay attention to the new perspective coins Solaris (XLR) they are still young, but successful. DeepOnion definitely add to this list. ZenCash and Zcach, and MONERO is their all dad

Dash and Monero obviously are going to crush but I look for Zcash and DeepOnion to make huge strides in 2018 especially Zcash I think it could achieve parity, it is not out of the question this is for sure.

I think the best privacy coin is Monero but there is also many coins working with TOR network and they are very good in privacy.

SpectreCoin (Tor + Tor OBSF4 obfuscation, ring signatures, PoS and 5% stake rewards, default stealth addresses and stealth staking to come in Q2 2018) and zclassic (to get bitcoin private on 1:1 after fork of bitcoin)

Privacy is very important. Whichever way it reaches the end user in the easiest way, it will come to the forefront. I am keeping ZEC but it is very bad not to have Windows wallet.

Verge is a shit coin, do not include that in your list. Monero seems to be the best when it comes to privacy, zcash ain't bad either. The other three coins in your list, not so much. I'd rather stay away from those, especially if you are going to invest 10,000$ in crypto and include those 3 shitcoins would lead me to nothing but a terrible decision and a huge loss.

Monero is king as it's now, but Spectrecoin might be the future in the privacy coins area.

Privacy is one pf the hardest things to achieve in computer security, so I'm amazed at how many claim it. Xspec needs to explain how they are going to achieve anonymous staking or be one more coin in a long line of vaporware.

I agree with above and at the moment I am not happy with available solutions. There isn't a single coin which is hitting all my sweet spots. That being said I believe that 2018 will be the year for privacy coins so I am expecting that new projects will emerge and existing ones will improve on their tech. This will be very competitive field inside crypto.
