I think the best and most popular private coin is monero. I know that this coin is used by many people.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

To be fair, I love Grin more than I love monero, given the current state of their tech.
But being an old-school privacy coin is extremely beneficial, and I think all monero needs to do to make sure it remains the top privacy coin is just implementing any new innovative tech that its competitors are pushing. Mimblewimble is one example, it can be activated as a sidechain.

Monero is still the favorite privacy coin and it's the best for most votes.
BEAM/GRIN
GRIN is becoming popular despite of being launched recently, it's price moved up quickly because of its mimblewimble.

The best privacy coin is Monero.
It is still the most popular one with strong marketing and at the same time people adore privacy and they prefer using monero due to long history of being on current market

Off topic, but these privacy coins have specific wallets right? do they accept other tokens like tron, eos or ledu to be stored on them?

Yes they have their own wallet.

If they have mainnet launched, they won't cater other types of tokens like those you have mentioned. They are different platforms.

AFAIK, there are multi-currency wallets, meaning you can have BTC, LTC and then Monero, But for more privacy I would just put all my Monero cost that just hold them and not to multi-currency wallets. And my votes still goes to Monero as well, the best privacy coins for me specially their "ring signatures".

Monero might be old and lacking in scalability and there has been better privacy coins in terms of technology such as Grin, Veil and Sero with zero knowledge proofs, but Monero still remain more prominent and adopted in the market

To me, it's Monero and Zcash! These coins are very strong and Monero is leading the privacy coins for many days! As far I know, Monero coin is the most popular in the dark web, and it has a strong community! Recently Veil did well, and another giant privacy coin may coming, which is SERO!

Binance Coin (BNB) can be a very attractive coin to be used as an investment and become the best altcoin to trade.
but if some of the people here are interested in Monero, that is a pretty good altcoin.

There's lots of privacy coins in the market, but I would go with Monero since I could also treat it as an investment.
It's important when we are using a privacy coin, we can also guarantee a volume as liquidity is very important, all of us buy and convert at the end of the day.

It seems like Monero is still the most privacy coin now or maybe there are others because there are many new projects with anonymous features and high privacy but they don't look mature

SpectreCoin have the features to be consider as a privacy coin but not the best in terms of privacy coin because it only has the fully integrated Tor+OBFS4 and the new proof-of-anonymous-stake (PoAS) which was implemented by the team. However, Grin and Monero are consider  as the best privacy coin due to the potential they posed.

So what about a lot of accusation for xspec and i thought that never get any reply from the developers. I put a little expectation for xspec.
It's not even the best privacy right now and monero still hold the king of the privacy coin.

For a start, take the trouble to study before unfairly attacking.

The same advantage you forgot to mention about the ring signature.
Monero is unquestionably a good privacy coin, but spectrecoin is no worse ( wallet works in China)

I assume you’re referring to the end of 2017/start of 2018 when the main dev was feeding everyone a pack of lies and not being able to answer any questions?
If you’d taken a look at the project recently you’d have seen that there is now a whole new team who released stealth staking on the time scales they promised and continue to deliver.  There hasn’t been a single question that I’ve seen that has been left unanswered. The devs and core team are all active on discord as well so can get a response straight away.

Monero is still King I agree, that’s because it’s had the head start and doesn’t mean it has the best tech by any means.

I’d much rather people reviewed projects and constructed valuable responses rather than spreading FUD and putting projects down.  The crypto space is plenty big enough for projects to coexist and the goal is to keep improving so makes more sense to work together surely?!
