Now its time for VRC to shine.

But why though? What's changed?

We've been targeted by big players trying to pump this thing, get a profit and dump. I don't like this, nothing has driven this rise.

I'm not saying this won't continue up, all I'm saying is that I don't like these artificial jumps. I want an organic growth.

It's organic, all BTC VISAcredit cards banned in europe(Xapo etc). They will fight us now. VRC/VRM built for mainstream crypto adoption.

I bought 500 as I think we could see the price double again today as very small market cap. I am not sure but we will see  Grin

I bought 47'000 as well.

No wait, just kidding. I wish I had the funds to do that.

I got very lucky with raiblocks  Cheesy I have never seen a coin go up 100x but I was very lucky for the first time Cool I hope you have good success in crypto my friend!

If dual chain gets online while we are in bull market you may see it again! And with 500 verium i dont even want to do that math haha :p unfortunately i only got about 50 myself, hoped to buy back more before the next spike but verium is in a positive trend.

I hope you are right  Cool Cool

Hard to tell but it looks like a mix of the two  Smiley

I tried but no result, it does not have pool concept it seems and it's purely on your luck.

Better to join some pool and mine.

I’ve been mining on a pool for 4 months with two Odroids (~760 h/m) and have only hit 3 blocks.  So, it takes a long Time, and a little luck, solo mining.  I’ve gotten about the same payout from the pool I’m in.  I just think pool mining is better because you can see progress every day.

FWIW, I just ordered 4 more Odroids.

When I look at the mining statistics dashboard at http://veriumstats.vericoin.info, we see that there are roughly 1.4 million VRM in supply. Looking at the number of miners that are spitting out over 2,000 KH/s JUST at https://vrm.poolinat0r.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool and earning over 8,000 VRM A DAY, it seems that the remaining VRM supply will be gone within the next 60 days and there won't be any left to mine. Is my understanding correct?

It is a low supply coin, but I think the total supply is closer to 3 million.  The 1.4 million is what has been mined already.

Also, I think the number mined per day is closer to about 1300-1400 a day.

3.7 VRM reward and 3.8 minute block time, currently.  So 1440 (minutes in a day) / 3.8 (blocktime) * 3.7 (reward) = 1363 VRM per day mined, total

Also, you have to factor in that difficulty is increasing and reward is decreasing, so 3.7 reward will decline as time goes on.

(I used to mine at poolinator, their stats are all wrong.  I think they are X100 too high)

Tried contacting the guy running VRM1 multiple times with zero response. I have 6 coins sitting in limbo and I've been blocked out, without any password recovery email.

Great to see VRM doing well, Those pool stats seem very odd.
I`ll move a miner to that pool and report but i assume stats are just off and payouts are nothing like claimed

I hadn't issues with the only one previous payout from that pool. I remember only an extremely long time passed at waiting for network confirmations once in my wallet.

I am trying to setup a VeriCoin wallet, but it keeps syncing and still has 0 connections.
Just downloaded the newest wallet for linux 64 bit (1.7).

Is that a known issue? Do i have to set up or delete any files?

I think the stats posted on this pool are more accurate.  Note, these are in KH/s.  So the guy getting 96 a day is hashing at 22.902 X 1000 X 60 = 1.4 million Hash/Minute.

As for today I'm in your same position with 2.x coins stuck, no blocks found. I'm moving out, will try to contact polinator's admin on slack.

hello folks. i recently got into vericoin and now trying to sync the wallet for 24 hours, but it seems the blockchain is increasing faster than it is syncing the wallet.
yesterday it was "1 hours" behind now its already a whole day. I have 20 connections and everything seems to work except its slow as hell.

any ideas on how to fix this? i just deposited some VRC onto this wallet, even though i know it is not lost its a pain i.t.a. to can't do nothing about it  Roll Eyes
