Attracting more investment doesn't achieve much of anything.  If I wanted a bigger maximum bet on the site I'm sure I could double the "risk factor" back to full-Kelly without many complaints.  And attracting more investment just means I'm responsible for an even larger pile of Bitcoins.  Since I don't intend to steal them, that's nothing but extra stress for me.

You are right if players don't usually play for the maximum profit. Now promotions should be focused on players, on encouraging them to play more.

"You have no idea how hard it is for me now to work, earning about 4 Bitcoins a month."

Do you have any idea how many people on this globe work for a fraction of that? IMHO you should be happy you have a decent job, learn a lesson on what happened and continue with your life. Money is no reason to be unhappy, there are much more important things.

I'm a hopeless job. I work 10-12 hours a day.
I do not make 4 BTC this is a mistake.
Earning about 2 Bitcoins a month. I have only to repay the credits.
I do not have enough to next payday. I know that some people have worse.

You will not mind to provide on the website the username and password of bitstamp (or btc-e or mtgox depending on where you bought the bitcoins) so that everyone can check the history and see that you indeed bought those bitcoins.

Come on man! You are well in a catastrophe, losing 80K is incredible, your pride is not at stake here. You shouldn'd be ashamed of gambling hard, it is a common illness. Right now the website just looks like scam and it is not convincing anyone to donate. If you provide hard data, I am sure you will get something to recover a part of your losses.

Yeah, some gamblers take it too far. You don't gamble with something you're afraid of losing. @Bittcoo Just post the story in a new thread in Off-topic, rather than linking to websites. Hell knows what malware will cling on your device if you visit the site.

Investors experience:
I invested yesterday 2 btc so I have like 0.00527 percent or something.   There was a huge downward jump on my account, so I checked into it, since It seems crazy that anyone would bet that amount of money.

Found the guys.  Now are these people hacking, which is what I think, something possibly going on from the site owners, or have other investors actually seen losses from bettors of these amounts.  I find it hard to believe people are staking hundreds of thousands of dollars on just-dice.  This one dude won almost half a million usd yesterday lol?  It seems I just scammed right and left and am to stubborn and stupid to pull out lol.  Some insight from random people on the internet always helps.

just keep your coins invested and in the long run your return will be approximately 1 % ROI * amount wagered total * your share of the site (0.00527 or whatever your account says)

I understand that principle, but if whales or whatever the deal is with these bets, it drastically skews the results.  Who cares if its 1 percent in your favor when all the little guys bet a hundreth of a btc, because it will take (error on calculator because the answer is to big) to equal the one 620 bet.  I'm sure there aren't whatever number that is of bets a day.  Looking for other investors experiences in how often this happens.
Thanks for your reply though.

I saw what happened, it was all legit.  There is one guy who comes on and likes to gamble for very large amounts.  When you bet over a certain amount (3 or 4 btc I think) it broadcasts the bet in the chat room so everyone can see.  He uses a standard martingale system, usually with 90% bets but he also used some 75% and 50% bets yesterday.  Obviously it's a high risk/high reward strategy, and I've been told that he's lost 600 BTC in a session before, but yesterday (and I believe a few days ago also) he won 600.  Apparently he's been playing for a while and uses new names for whatever reason.

Well, the site is easy to win small amounts with a big enough bankroll, so I just said fuck it and recouped my losses along with 0.079 BTC profit so I'm happy with just-dice now Smiley

Nah frustrated because I lost about 60 dollars in a day as the house.  I don't gamble ( I mean other than an occasional ac trip or poker) because I know you will lose.  I was very excited to get in as the house, until I realized that anyone with a big enough bankroll can just martingale like 25 times if they want because of the sites limits.  Not saying that it is foolproof, otherwise I'd be playing.  Plus I just did two 75 percent rolls and walked away.
At least the site runs nicely and pays a lot quicker than freaking coin base transferred my money in.  If I was into dice I'd play there.  I don't have a problem with the site, other than the fact the insanely large bets clearly manipulate the investors profits.
