Investors experience: I invested yesterday 2 btc so I have like 0.00527 percent or something. There was a huge downward jump on my account, so I checked into it, since It seems crazy that anyone would bet that amount of money.
Found the guys. Now are these people hacking, which is what I think, something possibly going on from the site owners, or have other investors actually seen losses from bettors of these amounts. I find it hard to believe people are staking hundreds of thousands of dollars on just-dice. This one dude won almost half a million usd yesterday lol? It seems I just scammed right and left and am to stubborn and stupid to pull out lol. Some insight from random people on the internet always helps.

Who cares if its 1 percent in your favor when all the little guys bet a hundreth of a btc, because it will take (error on calculator because the answer is to big) to equal the one 620 bet. I'm sure there aren't whatever number that is of bets a day. Looking for other investors experiences in how often this happens. Thanks for your reply though.

I saw what happened, it was all legit. There is one guy who comes on and likes to gamble for very large amounts. When you bet over a certain amount (3 or 4 btc I think) it broadcasts the bet in the chat room so everyone can see. He uses a standard martingale system, usually with 90% bets but he also used some 75% and 50% bets yesterday. Obviously it's a high risk/high reward strategy, and I've been told that he's lost 600 BTC in a session before, but yesterday (and I believe a few days ago also) he won 600. Apparently he's been playing for a while and uses new names for whatever reason.

Well, the site is easy to win small amounts with a big enough bankroll, so I just said fuck it and recouped my losses along with 0.079 BTC profit so I'm happy with just-dice now

I don't gamble ( I mean other than an occasional ac trip or poker) because I know you will lose. I was very excited to get in as the house, until I realized that anyone with a big enough bankroll can just martingale like 25 times if they want because of the sites limits. Not saying that it is foolproof, otherwise I'd be playing. Plus I just did two 75 percent rolls and walked away. At least the site runs nicely and pays a lot quicker than freaking coin base transferred my money in. If I was into dice I'd play there. I don't have a problem with the site, other than the fact the insanely large bets clearly manipulate the investors profits.

I have a question.
When I use the verifier on doge-dice are the results generated after pasting the data, ie.
"11: 28.7168 10: 27.313 9: 30.6054 8: 57.5994 7: 76.6421 6: 28.8044 5: 5.1343 4: 55.4433 3: 63.6256 2: 54.3001 1: 1.7326"
Are these results supposed to match my last same roll numbers? Or are they supposed to be different?
11: 87.3232 10: 66.4492 9: 03.6328 8: 29.0682 7: 28.8103 6: 12.3700 5: 01.7096 4: 58.2270 3: 23.0654 2: 07.7448 1: 89.8290 "
If not how do I verify. And If so why are all my roll numbers not matching up?

Many, many 500 BTC bets @ 80% and 90%, and at one point Max Profit actually saved the investors, he would go 500 @ 49.5% for sure if that was allowed. In that moment it actually looked dangerous. Whoever thinks Max Bet should be doubled to 1% Kelly should have been there tonight.

I think it's fine where it is, but increasing the max bet will make investors more money in the long run as long as it doesn't get increased to a crazy level (like 10% of invested funds or something like that). That's why martingales don't work...because eventually you bump up to the max bet and can't recoup in one roll.

Please don't do this. Variance will burn us investors big time. The edge is already very low. The more small bets there are, the closer it gets to the ideal of 'you give us your money, we give you 99% back, you give it to us again we give 99% of THAT back, and every 72 turns we have half your money'. Larger bets means someone can make a score at our expense with a few large bets and some discipline.

Annona ad! Please keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with Bitcoin itself. All it's scandals are caused by wonky websites and sleazy people exploiting it. The light attracts bugs. When all this bullshit drys up and blows away, Bitcoin will be stronger than ever.

Larger bets means someone can make a score at our expense with a few large bets and some discipline. Players will play however they want, not as you want. Of course it's better for the house if variance is low. I wish we had more high rollers, as they lose more money in average, even if variance is high. If you don't and are and investor, you should at least partially divest.

The results are supposed to match up, yes. Probably the reason they don't is that you're using the wrong roll generation algorithm. On Just-Dice we used to use a simple algorithm which only used the player's "nonce" value once per roll calculation. Some investors complained that maybe that wasn't good enough (nakowa had just won a lot and investors were losing confidence) so I gave in to pressure and announced that from bet 145,000,000 we would be using a more complex algorithm to generate rolls. (We were on bet 144 million or so at the time). When I made Doge-Dice.com, I copied the Just-Dice code, so that too uses the simple algorithm up to bet 145M, and the other one afterwards. The two algorithms are both described on the 'Fair?' tab, as is the fact that it switches at bet 145M. So for doge-dice, which has seen less than 145M bets so far, you need to use the old algorithm. The verifier was designed with Just-Dice in mind, after the change, but if you read the small grey writing, you'll see that you can put the bet ID into the 2nd box, and if it's less than 145M, it will use the old algorithm. I just tested it out on my most recent Doge-Dice rolls. First pull up details on a bet: Copy the values into the verifier. Make sure you put a number less that 145M into the betid field. It doesn't matter what number you use. I put '1': Compare with your actual rolls. The numbers should be identical:
