Before my lovely nemesis blows this out of proportion:

I proceeded to mute uvwvj for maybe a minute and a half. I shot him a PM on the forums here asking what the hell that was about in that time.

Of course, No reply..

He later comes back with this gem:

"07:37:00 (4764) <uvwvj> ru- I was iped banned for advising chat not to do business eith him, he is a bipolar (his words) and not mentally stabile and wont be able to protect your your investment,"

He wasn't IP banned by me at all(I do not have such capability), I was talking to a gentleman about some possible international arbitrage and uv decided that would be a great time to launch a personal attack on me, bring forth the fact that I suffer from manic depression (bipolarism).

For the record no one has ever lost any BTC in any business related venture or co-op of mine. I have paid BTC out of my own pockets to make sure investors were paid back.

I will NOT tolerate people personally attacking me on the site, especially in a manner that is disruptive to the chat room.
I don't care if you are in the top 10 investors or satoshi himself. You do not have the right to slander and belittle me in front of people. Problems can be resolved by talking 99% of the time.. Have some respect, for yourself, for me and for everyone else.

You can't do that Klye. If he said: "DO NOT INVEST IN ANY BUSINESS VANI IS IN" - or whatever name you can fill in there - you would not mute him, you know that. Think about that. That means you silenced him because it was about you. I have seen people saying a lot worse things to each other in the chat without mutes or bans and also when you are in the chatbox. I read the chatbox a lot.

You can't give yourself this kind of privileges. People will see you as unfair, power hungry, not capable etc and will starting to dislike you or maybe even JD. Since you’re a mod I see a lot of discussions where you are involved here in the JD threads. I don’t say it's your fault - it is the interaction - but it happens. It's not good for the atmosphere on JD. And that is the most important part. JD is known as a friendly website.

Don’t get me wrong. I believe you are a smart guy with the best intentions and are willing to help JD. You seems to be a very nice guy, but IMO you need to change your approach as a mod and be a lot more neutral. Don’t place yourself in the picture. If someone offends you ask yourself: will I mute this person if he said the same things to another random person? If the answer is an honest yes, then you can mute him. You need a ticker skin, make objective decisions and sometimes think twice (or more) before using the buttons, otherwise you will be a target and people will offend you again and complain about you with or without good reasons. If you think you can't do that or it does not fit you (anymore) for any reason then consider to step aside. No one will blame you.

Yes, people will also try to make you upset, people will do all nasty stuff to make you angry for several useless reasons. It is the internet, everyone is a hero behind their computer devices and no one has feelings. Watch out what, where and to who you telling things about your private life.

I agree that telling on the chat that you suffer from bipolarism is shit. It is also questionable if that is relevant to a business deal and besides that it is personal. Even if you told that to others (on the chat) in the past, I don’t like that uvwvj said that. I hope he will not do that again. Maybe he was angry about the mute and was it a reaction, I don't know. So I understand you are angry about that. The only thing is that he said that after the mute, so in this case it was not the reason you muted him.

You can withdraw at any time so long as there are enough coins in the hot wallet.  If not, I can arrange a manual withdrawl within 24 hours.

Profits (and losses) are added (and subtracted) to your investment every time a bet is made on the site.  You will be able to watch your investment grow (and shrink) every second.

Dooglus is the owner of the site, so JD is his business. If you consider an investment you can read more about the history of JD, read the FAQ on the website and then decide for yourself if you want to make an investment.

I came up with the name by searching the Scrabble dictionary for words ending with "ice", hoping for a pun on the word "dice".  "cowardice" and "justice" were the only two that caught my eye.

I liked "just-dice" as a play on "justice" (because it's provably fair, get it?) and that the site would only (just) feature dice games.

I toyed with the idea of calling it cowar-dice.com ("scared money don't make no money") but everyone I mentioned it to groaned and hit me.

"kyle is just nothing" sounds pretty harsh when you put it that way, but I'll put that down to the language barrier. 

I'm the only one with access to the server, and have sole control of the site.  There are some chat moderators who help to keep the on-site chat at least partially tolerable.  And my girlfriend Deb helps me out with customer support (which gives her access to some user accounts, if people disclose their passwords, etc.), maintaining the blog, keeping the chat room entertained, feeding me, and all that good stuff.

If I'm right the minimum investment is 0.01 BTC. I could not find it on the FAQ but I remember that I read it somewhere. There is no minimum deposit.

Upon navigation to the website you must enter a name for the website, simply to visit.

It asks you for a name, but offers a randomly chosen default.  So you can just click through if you don't want to set your name.
