I am not sure, I asked for expected date before those message above, and they did not respond.
Theyre website says listings can take 1-2 weeks after payment, for fast track payment its only 24 hours

We paid them standard fee June 4th, we told them to move forward July 3rd, they got coins for testing July 5th

Edit 2: Nevermind; I was on the old repository. The "stable" repo has 1.1.3.8 and works perfectly.

There is also the nightly-build repo that will always contain the newest version, even if I miss to start the process manually. So the project is not depending on my availability for ubuntu packages ^^

After closing and starting again it seems to work flawlessly. No idea what happened there...

It seems like there were some large buys coming in on C-CEX today. This should have been a good opportunity to sell the orphan funds (if that didn't happen already).

Ah nice, even better. Maybe BBP can stabilize itself in a range above the 0.0025$ region.

On another note: I sometimes have the problem of Rosetta jobs somehow "hanging". That means they start running and some time in the middle they stop making progess. This results in them "blocking" 1 core for eternity (until I randomly discover them and manually abort). Does anyone else experience this? I cannot remember seeing this with WCG jobs though.

I updated my wallet and it would not sync. I followed these instructions:

File Explorer: %appdata%/BiblePayCore

Delete blocks and chainstate folders, delete banlist, fee_estimates, governance, mncache, netfulfiled and peers

In Wallet do Tools >> Wallet Repair >> Rebuild index


I have done that twice and I still do not have transactions coming through ,and the last transaction it shows is from 4/12/2018

Can you find any peers? You only need to run the .exe really. No need for the other steps unless you run into problems.

Maybe just give it some time?

I personally only download the installer of the new version and install it right "over" the old one, without uninstall etc. Worked for me every time.

What exactly do you mean by "it doesn't do anything"? Do you have peers connected? Is your wallet synced, but just transactions are missing? Or is the wallet not able to sync or connect to the network at all? What was the last version that worked for you? Which Windows are you running? Sorry for the many question.

I'm currently not on C-CEX (because of their vacation-schedule), only on southXchange and QIEX. We're at +-1BTC right now for the Fund.

Thanks for your efforts. Well, that's a pity, because he has other programs running which depend on current openssl versions, so unfortunately downgrading this isn't an option right now.

So basically BBP is still not functional on Ubuntu 18 ( apparently just like many other programs...) and would be best to run on 16.04 LTS, right?

It is better to use 16.04 at this moment. But there is definitely something we can do to make it work sooner of later, we'll keep on researching.

That project is an early one, but it aims to enable "shared masternode" ownership. Basically, they invest in various masternodes and people can use their token to get a share in any of the masternodes that they run. The kicker is that a person does not have to actually run a node (or even have a wallet at all if they prefer they could use paper wallets).
This could be a good opportunity for investors who want to earn "dividends" from masternode ownership, but also want to spread/diversify their investment. If the project is successful then we could benefit from those people trying to diversify their masternode investment.

I've been looking at exchanges and I came across bisq. It's basically open-source software that directly connects buyers and sellers in a safe way.

-Bisq does not hold any bitcoins. All are held in multisignature addresses rather than a Bisq-controlled wallet.
-Bisq does not hold any national currency. National currency is transferred directly from one trader to the other.
-Bisq uses a Peer-to-Peer network over Tor. This means there are no servers to be hacked or DDoS’d.
-Bisq does not know the traders. No data is stored on who trades with whom.
-Bisq does not require registration. This means privacy is maintained, there are no “approval” wait times, and identity theft becomes impossible.

It doesn't have big volume (especially concerning altcoins), but it's decentralized and listing is free. They don't use a wallet but connect users directly.

What do the states of my Sanctuary mean (pre-enabled, enabled, watchdog expired, etc)?

PRE_ENABLED: your Sanctuary has started, but it’s state hasn’t propagated throughout the entire network. If everything is fine it’s state will change to ‘ENABLED’ in a couple of hours.
ENABLED: your Sanctuary is running and in good condition.
WATCHDOG_EXPIRED: be sure you’ve enabled watchdog. You can find a guide here.
EXPIRED: your Sanctuary can’t be found by the rest of the network anymore. Please make sure your Sanctuary-wallet is online and running okay (you can check the status of your Sanctuary by using the following command in your Sanctuary-wallet: “./biblepay-cli masternode status”.
NEW_START_REQUIRED: your Sanctuary needs to be restarted. You can do that from your controller-wallet. Go to the ‘Sanctuaries’ tab, right click on the expired Sanctuary, and select ‘Start-alias’.
