We would like to announce that we will change the Hdac algorithm from Lyra2Rev2 to Skunk to prevent disturbance of the Hdac mining ecosystem due to Lyra2Rev2 ASIC machine.

The change will be applied from block number 151,880, and it will be applied on (GMT + 9) October 22, 2018.

Software with the new algorithm (version 1.08.0) must be applied to the entire full node running Hdac.

(※If you do not apply the update, Hdac mined after block number 151,880 will not be able to trade on the MainNet)

Eventhough Asics are produced for Lyra2Rev2 algo Vertcoin and Monacoin haven't bother to change algo which let's asics mine coins dirt cheap. Hdac's choice to change algo from Lyra2Rev2 to SkunkHash is a very strategical move for the future and buy them some time at least even if it does not protect from asic's breaching again. They also consider dPos and other algo options too. Very solid team with great project.
