I like the focus on China and the suggestion of future anonymity features.

But there really should be a linux client.

Any updates coming Kimoto?

Yeah - Where is the source code for the latest client update?

What are the other upcoming developments for the coin you mentioned in an earlier post?

Kimoto did you get my PM regarding a Megacoin forum?

I think Kimoto is working hard right now on many things.

I expect there to be an update right before or after the 42,000 block and the block reward halving.

Don't worry, hold on to your coins, and let people know the time to get some cheap MEC is running out.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm gonna get anxious if we don't have any news after the block reward halving.

Good morning. Sorry about that, was sick and forced to rest. Odd since not many people are on this place.
Getting source out now and promise to get through all these messages.

Umm.. where's the option to backup the wallet in the new client? Closest thing I can find is an export option and that does nothing. Copying the dat file manually is... well, not of this century.

I am on windows 8 64 bit and since I upgraded to new 0.8.994  (cool looking and different wallet - finally one that doesn't look like every other one).. I get errors and it crashes and closes.  I removed all appdata but wallet so it could re-download chain but it just gives me a "System error: CDB(): can't open database file wallet.dat, error -30974"  I believe there is a problem.  All other wallets I own work fine.. so it's not me.. anyone else have this happen or have a fix?

[Update]
I removed my wallet.dat from the appdata and let it create a new address and download blockchain again.. then moved my wallet.dat back to replace one it created after the whole blockchain was reloaded.. and now it "seems" to be working again with my original wallet address...I shall keep eye on it.. just to let you know in case this happens to anyone else.. at least its not crashing any more.. this could be some kind of upgrade problem when installing and uninstalling newer versions of megacoin wallet software on Win8(64).

That sounds weird, I have never had any issues with it. When in doubt, backup the wallet.DAT and re-install everything. That usually seems to work for any coin.
