Kimoto Gravity Well difficulty algorithm this month grew from 2 to 12 coins.
Releasing a technical gravity guide shortly so all coins receive a fair chance at life Smiley

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Good work Kimoto, however, why don't you keep the old domain with a forward to one of the new ones?
There was a discussion on IRC about domain names with the "co.nz" extension being misread as "cons".  Many websites are now incorporating the TLD into the overall name, for example "Hashco.ws" the mining pool.
The number of people that agreed was surprising, I find the idea preposterous that someone would not trust a website and get the wrong idea because of the domain name extension, but it was pointed out that many of the visitors will be from foreign countries.
In a world where different cultures and superstitions affect perception, all things need to be considered.  Many people will not purchase something because it has an unlucky aspect, in their opinion.  They may avoid buying a house because it has an unlucky number on the letterbox.
So in the end the participants in the IRC channel agreed that no websites (with an international outlook) should use the "co.nz" domain name extension.  This happened in December last year, at the time I was speechless because "for the most part" I ignore the TLD, but it is undeniable that "some people" will base their opinions on the domain name extension.
Forwarding the old domain names is not desirable because it does not force a change, many people will continue to link to the old addresses if they continue to work.

Hope this clears up some of the confusion.

Is there anyone in or around New York City who would like to attend an upcoming Crypto-Currency convention?

You will be representing MEC as a fan and community member, but in general it would just be a fun and exciting day.

Post here if interested and we can get you on the list, maybe even a speaking part Wink

I've started a thread on the forums, but not sure when access will be back up.

http://cryptocurrencyconvention.com/

I'll attend the conference! I live in NYC, and own megacoins Smiley As many as a poor Jazz musician can own...

PM me the details?

Bittylicious ‏just tweeted:

@Bittylicious
"@hildoshildo MegaCoin interests us too - we like the gravity well. The thing is that nobody seems to want to sell them, so we can't offer it"

would anybody sell Megacoins for Pounds on Bittylicious??

This is old news from when the KGW was being implemented.  Only a handful of us were mining so block times were slow and the KGW required a hard fork in the chain.

I think Kimoto should do that by editing his original (#1) post thus changing the subject.
