Thanks to another generous donation from the Megacoin Community, MEC has now been added to blockr.io

Blockr.io block explorer released it's web page, parsing transactions and blocks of coins to a human readable form and presents them to users in a friendly and intuitive way.

Users can use address bookmarks for fast access to see their balances on account. Interesting Megacoin transactions and blocks can also be bookmarked, twitted or posted to Facebook.

Ahoy! I know there are probably plenty of Megacoin pools out there by now, but due to recent stability issues/etc on some of them, I did recently get FusionHash to add Megacoin. The bonus here is that when their scrypt hash rental service goes live in April, Megacoin will be one of their launch coins (hash rental can only be used in their pools - an added bonus is the <1 ms ping due to close proximity. Also, the projected prices are so low it will make purchasing hardware seem pointless.)

I've been mining Megacoin there with one of my rigs for a few days now and, just like the other pools at FusionHash, we are somehow killing the odds (not sure why or how?) I am a small investor in their venture and was surprised to see they hadn't posted anything yet. Today, they were complaining that I talked them into adding Megacoin and nobody was mining there - perhaps our marketing wires got crossed somehow. They have some slick services in development that will hopefully start rolling out soon - you'll be hearing about some of the things these guys are doing in the near future, I'm sure.

Anyway, right now it's just a pool. So if you're looking for a new, stable pool to mine Megacoin at, check it out:
