Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

The main reason is because the increasing demand of people but limited supply of bitcoin so its price goes higher everytime. I think they need to higher the price of bitcoin to not consume all the left bitcoin, also bitcoin is not enough for a lot people who wants it that's why it so high.
