The best way you can do to protect your bitcoin from hacker just not trust anyone. Choose wallet that have private keys to open it. And save your private keys, make sure just the only you who knows the private keys.

The best way to prevent being hacked is to have an offline wallet. An offline wallet is more secure than the online wallet. People who want to steal Bitcoins are widespread. They will do whatever they can to steal Bitcoins. Anyone who has an access to your private key will also have an access to your funds. Thus, the only one who should know your private key is yourself. Trust no one.
Sir thank you for these thread, i just read your reply about preventions of hackers and i think offline wallet is more effective for this. But sir how to make or open offline wallet? I want to know how sir please teach me. Because i heared my friend who introduce me in bitcoin that she was a victim of hackers someone who stole her token

you can try to visit this site :

hxxps://www.coindesk.com/information/paper-wallet-tutorial/
hxxps://www.bitcoin.com/guides/setting-up-your-own-cold-storage-bitcoin-wallet

or you can search more info on other site and learn how to make an offline wallet. I think if you have money, you can buy trezor or ledger so you can move your bitcoin into that wallet. keep your private keys and don't tell anyone if you are not trusted them.

Maybe you should always change your password or pin code every week to avoid being hacked and log out your wallet every time you're done with any transactions. Also, don't share your password to anyone even to your loved ones.

Do not keep your data in online storage, when your email gets hacked then all access to your online storage will be stolen all. Better print on paper and keep your private key.

yes, the easiest for hackers is to take BTC out of the wallet, and one of the most commonly forgotten ways is to remove the back of the adress after login, and that is a chance for hackers to steal BTC. so do not be careless with a small thing.

I think it is not easy to hack your bitcoin by any one because it is impossible for other to hack you easily if you keep your privacy then it is not easy for them. if you want to protect yourself from hackers just use your personal mobile and computer for accessing your bitcoin account and your personal wallet and don't share the password of your wallet with any one.

To keep your Bitcoins safe, use Hardware Wallets, also stop believing everything unknown people say, stop clicking every link that you don't know, and stay away from http sites, always look for https. and clear your browser cache very often. Remeber, saving password to your browser and using simple password is very bad, you can use free password generator tool on the web and generate passwords that look like this one "M'?c!+3XmLSrNeFW59pzMFhF"  (this is just a sample to show you, not to use.)

First thing is do not trust easily specially when it comes to your bitcoin wallet,Hackers are everywhere and they are very expert so dont give them a chance to get an access to your account. Also they are scammer so dont provide any information to them that will lead them to have ab access to your wallet.Dont access sites that is not trusted and only access the site that being trusted by most of the people and never give your bitcoin wallet password to anyone in anysite or in online or offline.Secure your wallet if you dont want that all the bitcoin that youve earn in your hardwork will vanish.Just be responsible and just dont trust anyone easily.

if you need a absolutely safe way you can download a bitcoin wallet from official site and then ensure that you save your private keys on a very secure piece of paper or on a system that you NEVER take online. It is important not to use internet on any device that has got your private keys. It can be suicidal.

Keep your important data from anyone not to one other person know.
do not haphazardly visit sites that can trap you.
do not use free or free wifi which is usually available in mall or coffee shop.
because from there can be hackers who are looking for prey.

Yes you are right using public network has a risk that someone will stolen your bitcoin. In public network anyone access it. And a hackers hunt in public network. And a lot of other ways to prevent hacking bitcoin use encrypted wallet. I will more preferred you to use online wallet than offline wallet some time offline wallet are hackable.

You should put your coin in your hardware wallet. Don't put it in exchange. It is very dangerous. Because many hackers focus on attracting the exchanges to stole your coins.  Smiley

Offline wallet or hard wallet is the only choice for you to be protected against hackers just make sure you put your keys in a safe place that no one can ever get it from you. Bitcoin now is very hot in the eye of hackers so we should all be extra careful with our holdings.

Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.

Sad to hear as it is really a huge amount these days. I've been reading some posts about they are being robbed too so for newbies like us we really need to take good care of storing our coins. Let's be aware not to open untrusted links as most of those hacked accounts are victims of phishing sites. Also don't put all of your investments under one wallet and see to it that as much as possible write down those private key, don't store them on your computer so that if ever your computer is hacked or your computer broke down there's a possibility that those private keys will also be gone forever. Don't trust anyone especially when it comes to money.
You can protect your self from being hack when you know what your doing also you can read or search from internet about something you want do to in bitcoin before you use it. Like in wallet before you store it you must need to know about it because some wallet is create by some hackers.

So many scammers around the internet, you should not trust everyone mostly to those who are not familiar. Before you start investing and depositing money you should check the whole information of the site you are using also check the functionality of the security of the site or the system and please be aware of phishing check the URL of the site if it is legit or fake to avoid loss.

it's easy you just need to keep your identity and private key or something connected with your wallet and if needed you need double safety like 2FA or GA. now also many scammers who spread phishing so you need to be careful if you are directed to fake site similar to the original site.

To prevent yourself from being hacked, first you must educate yourself about the thing you want ti invest in especially in bitcoin and second of all do not trust anyone who you meet especially when you only met them online.

Don't believe those youtubers. They might be saying that to increase their posts counts. No one can hack bitcoin wallets unless you lost your private keys.

Play smart and always keep your ass covered whenever you access your wallet. No one will ever touch or open your wallet unless you do. So don't be careless and open your wallet in some unknown network public connections. These are the areas where hackers thrive. So don't be careless and just play it safe always.
