For me i think the reason is because bitcoin is intangible currency unlike gold that tangible and people like the physical presence of value. Also people are afraid because bitcoin is unstable unlike gold, bitcoin value is changing every time.

It depends on various things. For some people gold is better because it's more stable in price than bitcoin. Some people love to have a low risk low profit investment while the other people love to take high risk high profit investments.

First and most important, gold has a shape and can be seen directly, while bitcoin is not. Secondly, nobody may accept gold as a means of payment, and some receive bills with bitcoins, but gold is accepted all over the world for bitcoin not. There are still many countries that resist bitcoin and that is what makes gold better than bitcoin.
Everything you said is correct, but I think the most thing is people more sure in physical gold in which future we can be sure, than in bitcoin which future is not clear. It is really so, we may talk about bitcoin's future as far as we can, but is actually unknown. |

It depends. In terms of the number of uses, gold will be better than bitcoin as it has many other uses from jewelry to electronics.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is pretty much used for investment and payments only. A shell for your money. But, as of the times, a superior one over gold.

because they didn't realize bitcoin as a digital asset or a tech money. Yes we all know Gold has a value. but bitcoin is way more better than gold and it can be materialize by any other asset in the world.

bitcoin is too voltile in term of its price. It takes about half an hour to proceed the transaction, during the half hour it is very possible to have 20% difference in price which small business cannot deal with it. also its transaction fee is enormous for daily purchase.

Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
yeah maybe cause the bitcoin isn't really popular right now and just a few market accept that. of course the people will say the gold is better cause everyone now that gold is expensive and the best investment cause the price will go up year by year and unlike bitcoin, gold is a material that you can see its shape |

I think the reason behind why gold is better than bitcoin is because gold is a precious metal use in different luxurious jewelleries. Gold provides elegance from its owner which is not subjected in depreciation. At the same time it possessed just like money a physical substance which the bitcoin don’t have.
Gold is Gold and it has its own value but these days bitcoin are more precious than Gold. Since bitcoin is new so most mature and old people still back the gold and shows no trust in Bitcoins. They are in the point of view that Bitcoin wont last long while Gold is there from ages and will always remain till the end of time. |

This forum is nothing but people harping on prices and what they think causes them.
But think about it.. what gives value ?
What would give Gold value ?
And then ask yourself what gives Bitcoin value...
I'll tell ya.
Look around.. noobs everywhere.
Why ?
Profits.
If the failed broken currency known as Bitcoin is worth 14 grand right now then Gold should be worth 1 million a gram.
And that would make the majority using it have troubles using it in your cell phone wouldn't it ?

Yes , Gold has been the all time defined asset as it is natural deposit to each country and declares the fund of the nation. Gold is better than crypto. why ? well obviously Gold is tangible, high value and natural than bitcoin that has its peak and lowest point of pricing. Aside Gold is long term wealth and can be pass to next generation without any hassle.

People believe in gold, because this is a stable currency, which has already shown itself for many decades. And bitcoin and other crypto-currencies are still very young and far from many people believe in them. |

The price of gold is more stable than bitcoin and does not fluctuate like bitcoin. As you can see in a week the bitcoin price has dropped by more than $ 4,000 but gold still has its price so it's better than bitcoin. |

gold was more likely to have a stable price then bitcoin. And gold was good for make a long term investment rather then bitcoin. bitcoin to me is more a gamble then an investment for a short term. profit sell just like that.
