still no date for the swap ?? why do you ignore SIGT holders ?

Im pretty sure I have answered this at least 10 times, but here goes, 11th time lucky...

29th November = swap details will be announced.
Why people tried to ask about SITG (Signatum) in the topic created for STRAKS? It's a little bit weird. Are there relationships between the two projects?

The relationship is minimal, however, the Devs of Straks agreed to swap and Burn Signatum for Straks, due to also being victims of the Sigt scam. many where part of the Signatum community who wanted to see a project

with longevity and transparency before the (false) Doc robbed the community of that.

Dev need to swap from 1: 4 to 1:20. and reduce the masternode to 1000-2000 straks.

True. But 7 days ago it was 140 and then the straks and swap pump comes in.

One more time

1. STRAKS created by Signatum community members. You can name it Signatum 2, but without scaming devs of original sigt.

2. Community vote for swap ratio 4:1 and it will not change

3. As i sad before - its nearly pointless to mine with GPU straks. At this moment, the best and most profit way to "mine" straks is buy signatum, because the price of sigt is still very low compare to expectations of price at 29.11 (1500 sat +)

So you can buy signatum and prepare for swap or you can switch your attention to other projects. From my point of few, it is simple as that. No offense.

Hi!
Original SIGT had 1250 coins/block. 650 after 30k block.
STRAKS has just 10 coins/block.
Dev will swap coins like 4:1. And it's the end.
Price will be dumped. If you are mining STAKS, you shold say "bye bye"  to you money.
Why such low block reward? Why such low amount for swap. Why not 100:1?
Even if STAKS will have swap 100:1, it will like 1000 coins/block. Even 100:1 less than SIGT's block reward.
Millions of original SIGTs will bring huge inflation.
We should turn off rigs, cause it's madness.
We have been trapped, mates.

Developer stopped and abandoned SIGT 2.0, then created STARK. What is the purpose of that guy?

There was a hiccup with sigt, too low propagation time and overlapping issue. For those wearing a tinfoil hat, overlapping paradox is an anomaly leading to two transactions that were broadcast almost simultaneously or with a minimal time space inbetween, to overlap onto each other and cause high chain destruction and latency reduction.

I realise that the only way to mine at this stage is through the wallet, but does anyone have a pool (legitimately) set up, or are we all competing for some solo mining coins Wink

I'm at work right now so hopefully will be home in time to set everything up and start mining before it starts!

Maybe give OCMiner a heads-up! He might be willing to set up a pool.

already done and contributing to the net hash.  https://stak.suprnova.cc/

Ah, see, the best and quickest pool provider of them all! Wink

And people, pls STOP trying to estimate the coin's value based on the current mining difficulty vs profitability and THEN make the EVEN bigger mistake of comparing it to the current value of signatum and the 4:1 ratio. OFC anything can happen but......with 34m coin flood, the most likely scenario is for straks to drop to 20-40 satoshi first, before it can have any hope of recovery. I hope I am wrong on this.

Disclaimer: I have never mined signatum,I am NOT a signatum holder and out of plain luck (read the signatum2.0 thread before this ANN) I have NOT started mining STRAKS. Otherwise I would be in the same boat as you guys.

Your estimate of 20-40 sats is way off. Sigt had a supply of 137 million coins and a market cap of 5-6 million dollars before things went south. Based on your estimate Straks would have a market cap of 60 thousand dollars after the swap. That's absurd. Straks is a better project, both from technical point of view and developer wise so obviously Straks' market cap after the swap should be higher than Sigt's market cap.

I see some people complain about the swap and it's sort of understandable -  having a market cap of let's say 5 million dollars means you're late to the game if you don't own any Sigt. However, what you need to realize is that a lot of money was invested in Sigt and that money now gets transferred to Straks. It's not like the existing owner of Sigt get their Straks coin for free - in fact most Sigt owners have paid much more for their coints than the current value is.

I have ~6800 sig that I got from 1 week mining sig fairly early on that I didn't bother doing anything with. This translates to approx 1700 STRAK. Based on current network hash rates, it would take me approximately 4 months  to mine this many STRAK. It seems to me that the sig holders will be the one to control this network, but how is that fair? Why can't this coin be a true fresh start, without giving all the power to the people who held some unrelated coin?

6800 Sigt coins in one week means you either mined right at the start when difficulty was super low or your rigs had pretty high hash rate. 6800 coins in a week equates to nearly 1 GH/s of hashing power. With 1 GH/s you could currently mine about 190 straks coins in a day and mining 1700 Straks coins would take 9 days. One week vs 9 days doesn't sound too bad. People have been complaining about the high mining difficulty but we are currently pretty close to average Sigt mining difficulty.

SIGT2.0 was temporary name of STRAKS . There was contest for coin name and STRAKS von the vote. So STRAKS is not "third" project.
oh really? I missed important information about the swap. If it is true, why developers has not mentioned about the swap from SIGT to STRAKS? thank you.

Why did not this information on the first page? Why hide it? Why is it said on many pages that this project has nothing to do with signatum? This must be on the first page in the description and writen that Straks is Signatum 2.0 and is its continuation and linke to the topic where it was all discussed and there was voting. I think it would was in the spirit of honesty and transparency ...

I mined at least 10000 with 2*1080 for less than several hours. So it was possible.

Public Announcement

The swap mechanics from SIGT to STAK have now been defined.  Please read carefully and try to understand the rationale in an objective manner.
