So, I have updated Globalcoin's Twitter @ www.twitter.com/Globalcoin with the new logo.  We will contact all the exchanges by this means when web and client are ready.

In addition, the Facebook page has also been updated with the same.  http://www.facebook.com/Globalcoin

The webpage updates are ongoing and will be done by the end of the week.  It looks nice so far.


Mr. Fista and DH have not been around, so I do not know what they are up to....  As soon as I hear from Mr. Fista, I will have him update the Op with the changes discussed previously.

I think realistically, when the market infatuation with the TOR and anonymous features dies down, folks will come looking for established well branded/marketed coins that can truly become widely popular.  We will be among the top.

Early December, the subsidy drops to 12.5 coins a block.

thats too late to save this now the price will be down to 20 by then . got to stop the guy with a big asic mining the shit out of it and dumping , he will just keep going as there is no other coins left to do it too.

I am here, sorry for website down time there was a bug in our database that I was not aware of but has been fixed now and will be back asap. In other news we will have a mobile client for mobile devices making Global Coin truly global allowing you to send payments anytime, anywhere. This is being coded as I write this and will be released before November after closed alpha then an open beta. There is also a official forum being added to the new site where you will be able to communicate better in a less crowded environment but still keep this thread updated with news and updates. It will be a great place to start discussing the future of GLC.

Stevetrac, not sure that is accurate.  I do not believe the coin needs to be "saved". Price is low, perhaps buy some?  Or try and buy some at .00000010.  Who knows what will happen, but it doesn't need "saving".

Pablo, nothing will make price go sky high accept for investment dollars.  Until that happens, price will continue downward. All coins are affected.  That being said, obviously Globalcoin is undervalued realative to the larger market.  Name alone is more valuable than current market cap.  It is an early coin as well, over a year old.

Yep you are right but ask yourself a question. Could GLC be a better coin, could it be further developed? In my opinion YES and we can at least initialize a discussion what can be done and gather people that would be interested to help SistaFista with it. Let's rebuild the coin team. I am offering my help with promo/marketing and Android. However I am not familiar enough with technical background of crypto and network programming but I will gladly collaborate with someone that has this knowledge (I mean from programming side).
