I am one of the shareholders who hasn't applied for direct shares yet. Here is why:
I don't have a smart phone, and I'm currently living in a part of the world that makes it difficult to access smart phone apps and the like. I don't use windows, so the suggested link to the google authenticator that runs on windows is no use to me. As a result, I can't make the transfer of my shares to the "ADDICTION" account.
But, I do control the bitcoin address listed in the public register. I can sign transactions with it. Is there another way to get myself registered as a direct shareholder?
Many thanks for your help.
Kokomoka.

Hey, Well in that case just PM me the address that's yours, so I can at least mark it as a confirmed address. The thing is mostly that we don't want to make payouts to the current public btc addresses because we are not sure they are correct. (we are sure that some are not correct ) This goes for all other people without 2FA or other issues. It should all work automatically end of month but we would really like to stop making div payments to bitfunder and get all the shares as direct shares asap. Hope this helps, EDIT: By the way, there is a linux command line 2FA client as well: https://github.com/arcanericky/ga-cmdHaven't tried it, but might just do the trick for these last bitfunder transfers..

My shares are in Bitfunder. I am not a US citizen, nor do I live in the USA. Do I understand correctly that you would prefer it if I moved to private shares? By 'It should all work automatically' is that the moving of shares or something else? Do I need to take action? [Later edit] OK, now I've seen the Bitfunder notice. I'll try to do the moving myself.

Hey, Yeah unfortunately Bitfunder decided to close down completely: Please be advised that BitFunder is ceasing operations. In connection with BitFunder's shut-down, please note the following points, which supplement the points outlined in BitFunder's October 8, and October 11, 2013 notices:
As of November 14, 2013, no BitFunder user will be able to enter into any new positions or sell positions on the BitFunder website.
BitFunder users are encouraged to transfer their shares from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) no later than December 1, 2013.
As of December 2, BitFunder will initiate a transfer from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) of any remaining shares held by BitFunder users, and will provide the issuer(s) with the public bitcoin address associated with the user account. After transfer, each user will need to work with the issuer(s) with respect to the future treatment of the shares.
On December 2, 2013, bitcoin balances in the accounts of all users will be transferred to their WeExchange accounts.
As you can see above, shares will be transfered to us automatically December 2nd, however we would like ppl to transfer them earlier so we can stop paying dividends thru bitfunder. Also this ensures we have a double check on everyones btc address instead of having to trust the btc addresses people entered into their bitfunder account. Cheers,

Best offer for these shares? Considering that we all know that bitfunders price is artificially low, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control I would like to start the bidding at 10 BTC.

And either you want more for your shares than previous posts or youre bidding more than your first bid. It just doesnt make sence.

Yes, no problem. Just transfer them and send an email as stated somewhere above. Also please mention that you already have direct shares. I usually check for double addresses, but if I know I need to look its easier Cheers EDIT, transfers have been processed: new list here http://pastebin.com/L0TRmS0G129 ppl left with 108,388 shares.
