UKyo still responsive and tells about a solution very soon, just have to wait.

Did you reach him on IRC? Does he provided progress info or solution date? From my point of view he took free loan from all of us. So in case of this kind of issue his communication should be transparent.

I abadoned all hope to get back my coins from WeEx, processing tickets and making manual payouts should be done in maximum one week. From my point of view Ukyo took our coins and sold them when BTC was all time high (around 300-400$) and now waiting for price drop, but in contradiction with his expectations price doubled...

He was last time active on 17.11.2013 and tickets till 26th Oct still not processed, it tells everything.

One more piece of info: The last dividend payout of Ukyo.Loan is on 16.11.2013.

as a followup to bips.me

https://bips.me/press#new

this screen shot is from the link above.  the wallets are locked

so please don't send me BTC to

https://blockchain.info/address/1AyWHY6kCMi4F221J7aPheiYdAvkDbcdPp

My locked address at bips.  By the way my btc is still in my wallet.

It seems to me those online service owners are doing something skeptical with their users' money intentionally or unintentionally during the recent high of BTC. I am loosing trust on some service providers/owners.

I think we can only trust our own wallet. If you have a lot of BTC, paper wallet plus a safe seems to be a good choice. I am working on it.

I reached the point of just cashing out coins as they came in. I was no longer buying hash power.  at least I am ahead. even with all the crazy ripoff people in this game.

lots of good news on the legitimizing of BTC

http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/16/5111546/new-york-state-weighs-bitlicense-certification-for-bitcoin-traders

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-18/u-s-agencies-to-say-bitcoins-offer-legitimate-benefits.html

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-switch/wp/2013/11/18/this-senate-hearing-is-a-bitcoin-lovefest/

Below my score sheet in usd.

BFL = total ripoff 534 in 0 back
Cloudhashing = part ripoff  734 in  250 back

A long forgotton nmc to btc exchange about .01 btc  lost when they folded.

Bitfunder a p.i.t.a.  but for me not a ripoff.
1 share of fasthash Huh may be a ripoff??  about 199 usd

I am pretty sure the above  add up to about  1200-1350 usd in ripoffs.

Bips.me .4 btc at stake but I think I will get it released.  that is another 200.

Most of my money was made with;

 www.bitminter.com

this group should make money for me.

ebay sales of AM sticks.

and d-zombei co-op.

a small amount made on cex.io and on   AM stock.

Still waiting. 4-5 days from being a full month.

UKyo still responsive and tells about a solution very soon, just have to wait.
People have been giving him some good suggestions about how to resolve his problems but he rejects them all outright. BFL has been better at informing customers than he has. He could at least put a notice on his website. I gave this guy my ID and so I am a bit concerned about what he might do with it.

On the bips.me front the site has come up a bit more but the wallets are still locked.

So please do not deposit my dividend into my old btc address.  I was able to do a little but not much on their site no wallet access. no access to the help page

Hey!

In the beginning of group buys, there were discussion about simultaneous namecoin/whatevercoin generation. Last info I remember was BitCoin is priority no 1. Are there plans about simultaneous mining of other altcurrencies? It could easily boost our earnings.

I have found that Eligius with KnC miner is quite ready: http://eligius.st/~gateway/news/kncminer-quick-start

We are already mining on Eligius Smiley

As for merged mining, we have enabled merged mining of course Smiley To date we mined 2588 NMC (roughly 5 btc at current prices). We're keeping an eye on the nmc price and if we see a nice spike will convert to BTC and payout as dividends. We figured it would be a nice extra when difficulty is going up more Wink

Latest share list: http://pastebin.com/1hitBS7B
11991 shares left to transfer or confirm Smiley

WoW very nice!

When Btc difficulty will be too high ,  I think mining altcoins could be a huge boost.

Since if bitcoin value goes up then  100%  all the main Altcoins will rise too in the long run.

Just an idea. I know this this is pretty much just KNC miners group buy. But if bitcoin skyrockets to 1k$/btc soon wouldn't it be smart to use dividend to convert it into fiat and Buy some more Mining power ?

I would be in favour of taking one weeks worth of dividends and buying some active mining hardware. They should be shipping in a matter of days.

One of the best things about this group buy is that lack of mandatory reinvestment. If people want to reinvest their dividends, and tyrion/blastbobb are up to it, there can be another group buy and allocate additional shares per the original share agreement (no dilution of shares, 1 share equals the same hashing power as before).

If you're interested in reinvestment of dividends, check out the ADDICTION DISCOVERY fund (I believe it still exists, but I could be wrong)
Hey guys,

Expanding with the use of dividends isn't an option like maqifrnswa says. Only hashing hardware can be added to Addiction and frankly we don't see anything worth buying with a good delivery date. If we find anything (2nd gen Knc maybe Wink) we'll probably start a new groupbuy first like maqifrnswa says.

As for bips and other online wallets. Even though blockchain.info is also "just another" online wallet, it does have the option to export your private keys for your wallets, and doesn't use any shares wallet system. I'd suggest anyone to use only online wallets that offer those services. With bitcoin growing in value, it's good practice to keep your bitcoins safe!

Lastly on WeEx, we haven't had any update on our own tickets so far. This post contains most information so far:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=337523.0 and
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=316546.480

cheers,

Thanks for switching my payout  address.    I am hoping for all WeEx btc holders for their payments to come soon.  Bips.me sent an email today  stating 72 hours for a payout.  they also stated the wallets will end or be altered to have More security.

My email from them:

BIPS temporarily closes consumer wallet initiative after security breach

To protect the successful merchant processing business BIPS has decided to temporarily close down its consumer wallet initiative.
BIPS has been a target of a coordinated attack and subsequent security breached. Several consumer wallets have been compromised and BIPS will be contacting the affected users.
As a consequence BIPS will temporarily close down the wallet initiative to focus on real-time merchant processing business which does not include storing of Bitcoins. Subsequently BIPS will consider to reintroduce the wallet initiative with a re-architected security model.
The consumer wallet initiative has not been BIPS core business and as such regrettably affecting several users has not affected BIPS merchant acquiring.
All existing users will be asked to transfer bitcoins to other wallet solutions, and users affected by the security breach will be contacted.
Additional support information:
BIPS help desk system is currently not accessible and will not be re-enabled until an alternative hosting solution has been arranged for this. In the mean time, support is reachable via email to support(at)bips(dot)me. Previously submitted tickets need to be resubmitted via email. Please be patient and allow 24-72 hours to receive a reply.

NMc skyrocketing +144%
 good call on your part.

now to tyrion70  time to cash some nmc out   the 2588 coins are now over 9 btc.  what is the saying 'all good things come to he whom waits' ?

oh on the bips.me   screwup  they restored help desk but not good enough to send a message.  I have been pestering them on twitter.  funny thing is if they give me my .39 btc today price is higher on btc then when i wanted to cash it out.  I would have cashed for 200 usd at todays price that money is now 300 usd.  It would be nice to see the wallet open one day soon.

Don't use online wallet services.
Do make your own offline or paper wallets.
In the future, someone might offer this as a service, and that would make more sense.
