Do we Need Altcoin?

yes we need altcoin, if it's not for altcoin bitcoin would not grow as much as of today's value. even thought decentralization is bitcoin another goal, altcoins further decentralize the cryptocurrency community and it also allow developers to experiment with unique features.

I think that Bitcoin is it. Altcoin's are not needed in the world because people can integrate mostly anything they want with Bitcoin tech.

There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

Its not necessary but to think off that it would be nicer to engage on more altcoins since it do extent the possibility on making money just like we do experience on engaging into bitcoin. Come to think that every people have its own intellect even though lets say we wont need altcoins but there are minds who would really push that they would create a new coin and would plan to go the same path as bitcoin.Its just like that because we do have dreams to get rich either as a developer or just an investor.

for Bitcoin is also quite beneficial to every individual. but for Bitcoin it is more suitable to be a source of long-term profit. so for short-term profit, we can use Altcoin which is more suitable and profitable for us. so I highly recommend having Altcoin.

Altcoins are in the market whether we like it or not , Some of them are scam , most of them are useless but some of them are necessary to improve cryptocurrencies world , POS and DPOS algorithm has been introduced by altcoins , without them , we needed to waist a lot of energy to verify transactions in POW network like the algorithm of bitcoin and increasing energy wasting means increasing global warming.

Each country has their own currency which we cannot use another currency for purchases, so in this way, altcoin is the future currency if the company has huge potential because of the major currency will always remain but in order to buy their product, we can use either their concerned altcoins and fiat currency.

Is a very nice question that you have asked. Though we have bitcoin cash and the likes but i think we still need other altcoins. The only problem associated with the introduction of a lot of altcoins is the scams. If we are able to eliminate the scam out of the system then is good we get a lot of altcoins to boost the crypto market

currently, I use Bitcoin for investment, for trading I use Bitcoin. so if every new Altcoin grows, I think it's great for trade to enjoy the sensation of flash "pump and dump" every day

Actually, our need for altcoin depends on the technology offered by the altcoin. I understand there is no single crypto currency that could include all transaction functions. Therefore, I emphasize if the new altcoin has a technological capability that can greatly assist human activity then we must welcome the presence of the new altcoin openly. However, if the presence of the new altcoin is only a technological duplication of altcoin before then I think that there is no need for new altcoin presence.
