The project is probably needed fo society, because monopoly in any industry is not allowed at all. For healthy competition, for equity of choice there always must be several big players. You can easily compare it to Pepsi and Coca-Cola, Nike and Adidas, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The competitive situation forces every company to develop and do something good to customers first of all.

I also would like to know whether would it be possible to choose exact commercial contracts or not? For example, I don’t like ‘always’ ads during my stream. How could I filter them?

Is your goal to basically replace twitch? Or are you just offering streams for any sports / e-sports?

Why do you think there is a need to replace twitch? Did AliExpress replace eBay? Or google -> yahoo? No. They are opponents, they are rivals. It forces both to develop, that’s great. Monopoly is bad, you know. For users at least. They have no choice

Sorry dude that I picked the wrong word and made your heart rate raise so much... I didn't really mean "replace". I should have said "compete with". It was more to get an idea of what your platform is about. We can all calm down now again.

As a streamer, you'll have a great extent of freedom to fine-tune the inner economy. You'll be able to choose the exact contracts, the type and frequency of advertising, etc.

Really nice ico for gamers and streamers! How are you going to attract second to your platform?
Thanks! I am sorry, but what did you mean by "attract second to your platform"?

Hi! Our goal is to eliminate the following weaknesses of the existing streaming platforms: 1. Limited opportunities for users and streamers to interact and no personalization options. 2. Restriction of users in the ability to earn from their hobbies. 3. Advertising is persistent and usually there is no option to disable it. The users are frustrated with the advertising and try to avoid it in any possible way. 4. Every user who wishes to stream their game and earn from this action cannot do it on a regular basis, while they expect to start earning money just after the registration in the system and wish to have more tools to monetize their streams better.

There is clearly a use case for a platform similar to Twitch.tv that would offer viewers and streamers a new level of interactivity and authentic monetization schemes. Play2Live is the platform of that scale, facilitating numerous ways of interaction between a streamer and a viewer including a bilateral system of tasks, enhanced content generation process, totalizator and many others. Compared to the simplistic chat communication and donation options provided by the existing platforms, it is a real step forward in terms of interaction and monetization. Play2Live opens possibilities for monetizing the streamers’ content, which leads to a better quality of entertainment and interaction for the users.

ok, what do you mean by ‘advertising is persistent and usually there is no option to disable it’ Huh
do you actually mean by this that user will pay for avoiding ads? for example, i watch streams, complete different tasks and thus get an ability to purchase ‘ad-free’ Huh

Contracts? Sounds great indeed.
The fact that USERS will be able to manage commercials is really good. Companies will be able to analyze market better too. For example if their ad is refused so many times then they should think that they do it in a wrong way.
Some commercials are aweful, some are just annoying due to intensive occupation of breaks on streams  Wink

Feel encouraged about totalizator: there was such a service (not powered by twitch) where you could bet on streamers success (or otherwise). Are you going to create something similar to this?

You said that streamers may earn money with almost registration on your platform. Well, I am like a newbie streamer who has about ~130 viewers during the prime time. I would like to know what exact advantages I get changing twitch to P2L (realize that I will not lose anything)
