Ethereum cannot be the future as long as bitcoin is also rising. But nevertheless, its the best alt coin out there.

Not scalable? Ethereum is more scalable than bitcoin or most of the currencies out there. Thats even why its the #2 ranked crypto currency based on market capitalization. If you ask me, ETH actually has a more active development team that both constantly works on the coin as well as branches out and really tries to get some real world use to it (via the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance). Speculation says ethereum will rise even more before the year ends.

Well, I'm not surprised that it happened. During the battle between BTC and BCH all cryptos were red while ETH had a stable balance between 300 cnd 310 USD. Start of its movement was just a matter of time.

Well it's a good news if ETH is rising although i think it's normal that its value to increas, but ETH will never takeover bitcoin if that's what you're thinking, bitcoin is the genuine and almost all altcoin is based on bitcoin maybe 1 altcoin rise and takeover bitcoin but i don't think that that altcoin already exist cause all the altcoin that is created are just innovation so i don't think they can replace bitcoin but if a coin is created with its own genuinity and a concept that is really comparable to bitcoin then i think that 1 coin can takrover bitcoin.

yeah today ethereum raised more than 13% from yesterday, i dont know what is going on with ethereum but its a good news, hahaha i hope that ethereum is have a same value with bitcoin or bitconicash

It's been a very good day for all alts. Very green and very good gains. We could be in for an interesting remainder of the year. All it takes is for the train to start moving and then as more people jump in the momentum will increase.

I think ethereum is the best coin after bitcoin,as its price has been rising. Bitcoin will still remain the best with higher price and most popularity as it was the original one to come, so until bitcoin faces a hige price drop or something that leads to the price drop for bitcoins or more people's interests turning towards etherum or  other coins, ethereum may surpass bitcoins then. I don't see that happening anytime soon though.

increased ethereum is a process that can already be guessed by crypto players. I think this happens because of the rising bitcoin prices. to pursue ethhereum market share, then it will increase the price.

News re Casper and other positive news are now carrying ETH price IMO. That's real value, not hype or fake news as for most altcoins in their early stages. At the moment there is the expected correction and I believe that already this weekend we will see new all time high. Great thing about ETH price is that it does not fluctuate that much. Sign of a established coin and very mature community and development path.

From last few days, Ethereum has showed significant growth in price but sudden growth don't confirm that the coin is going to takeover the cryptoworld. Am also expecting high rise up to $1000 from Ethereum in 2018 but truth can't be deny that Bitcoin is the future of cryptocurrency. Ethereum is the most developed smart contract platform with great support. I don't think that it's correct to compare it with BTC due to another class of crypto, so ETH should be succeed despite of bitcoin price. I believe in 1000$ in the beginning of 2018.
