Bitcoin has been around the borders of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining importance as an alternative asset class.
Can the government of any major country step in and do the unlikely?
i think many big countries are planning to ban bitcoin in the future however there are few countries has already banned bitcoin because they reallize bitcoin can not be controlled, but i think differently, bitcoin is giving more financial to the economic of coutries, so many countries wont easy to give up on bitcoin now.

Some governments in the world relies on the power of the banks that can be seen in the country. Most of the banks also have an impact on the economic power of the government and the country itself. Once bitcoin have overpowered banks in a certain country and less people do engage in the banking system, probably the government would take step to stop the operation of bitcoin in their country just like what happened in china.

Bitcoin has existed and developed for a long time. It appears in many parts of the world. The government can ban the bitcoin, and set a limit on bitcoin but the government can not completely ban the bitcoin and bitcoin that can not be banned globally.

Bitcoin has no middle to assault. There is no single association or individual that controls Bitcoin and exchanges don't experience a focal clearing house there is extremely no chance a controller can prevent individuals from downloading Bitcoin wallets and sending each different bitcoins. In the event that there we to obstruct every one of the sites that individuals can download Bitcoin wallets from, new ones will come up and a few people will aggregate their own particular wallets from source code - Bitcoin resembles Bit deluge is that regard. On the off chance that they close down the web, individuals will send each other Bitcoin by means of SMS and on the off chance that they close down the power supply, individuals will utilize sun oriented and battery-fueled arrangements.

Yes, and in fact some government are already banning bitcoin and cryptos in their country. Maybe the reason behind it is that these countries see that cryptos are a big threat to their economic growth.

I believe they can, because some countries banned the usage of bitcoin ,but i think they can't stop people on using it though.

That goes to show you that they were not banned but then some ICO's and exchanges were. No government can effectively ban bitcoin except they make it difficult for their citizens to use them in their jurisdiction by making laws against them but those who know their ways around the computer can still escape and use their bitcoins.

As far as I know, bitcoin is anonymous. In my opinion, the transaction using bitcoin can be banned by the government on a certain country but in the way that you will earn through bitcoin cannot be banned because no one is controlling it.  In our country, bitcoin can be used in many transactions and it is really good because it won't take so much of your time. As the matter of fact, it can make someone successful in life and I hope it will never be banned in our country.

the government will do its financial arrangements in their area, and that will be a complaint many people join in bitcoin. the government can not ban bitcoin, because bitcoin will grow without the approval of the government.

Governments can only state that they can regulate bitcoin by shutting down bitcoin exchanges or cutting access to it and restricting anyone to use it and if anyone use it will be in prisoned. But bitcoin can't be stop by this sort of things, people will surely find ways to buy and sell or send it using Tor network. As long as there is an Internet bitcoin cannot be stop.

if they do such a thing it is certainly legitimate because it is their right to determine the attitude about crypto currency, but we as users hope that it does not happen should be supported instead in order to grow larger

Any governments can ban bitcoin. But since bitcoin is developed as peer to peer and a decentralized technology then it will be hard on governments to track down its users especially if it gets to become mainstream which is what we are hoping to happen.

I believe they can, because some countries banned the usage of bitcoin ,but i think they can't stop people on using it though. I think all of the bitcoin users become mad in the government, because the bitcoin is not illegal. I don't know why some government or countries banned the bitcoin but I think they banned the bitcoin in their country because they think that the bitcoin is unfair to some people who is working hard to earn money.

In other countries Bitcoin is already banned and its prohibited its because of some people used bitcoin in illegal activities that's why. So for my opinion It can be, but Of course  Bitcoiners will make a way to use bitcoin eventhough its prohibited to their country.

I do not think any government can ban bitcoin entirely as this is a de-centralized platform.

Any of government has their own law which can set the law to ban bitcoin.
For example china, they have banned bitcoin and close exchanger. It is because they make a rule or law to ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrency

every government can ban bitcoin, because the government has high authority for society. So no wonder many other countries are banning the use of bitcoin.
