This is very funny --

Quote
    Beam mining on stock settings
        21 Sol/s on GTX 1070
        12 Sol/s on GTX 1060 6G

I have rigs with GTX 1070's OC getting about 16.40 Sol/s

And rigs with GTX 1060 6G cards OC getting about 9.40- 11.20

And these were using bminer v15.3.1  I went back to v14.3.0.

My rigs run more stable with the older version. Why is this. I would love to get 21 Sol/s on stock setting for my GTX 1070's. I think the devs need to learn more. What cards are they using?

I hear ya!!!  I asked the same question twice to the devs, what cards they were using.  I was in the same range of 16-17 sols per card.  Had to switch to gminer (which I didnt want to do) and getting 19-20.

Why didn't you want to use gminer?

Not sure of how true it is, but possible stolen code.

With out proof I'd use it. Then if proof is provided down the road you can stop using it. Is it stable? Is watchdog embedded in it?

True... Yes it is stable.  Had no issue when running it.

Thank you. I just dropped bminer and went to gminer. Higher has rate. Grin

Our numbers are measured with the out-of-stock settings of GPUs.
The numbers can change drastically with different settings of power usages, core and memory clocks. Your results might vary.

Hi Bminer,

Tried reaching out via Reddit, we operate TheGrinPool.com and were wondering if you can list us as a suggested miner! We have a growing mining community and also Ethash pool as well. Many of our miners switch between our pools for profitabiility reasons.

We currently user Bminer on all our machines mining Grin on our pool and it works fantastic! Highest hashrate of all miners we have tested!

Thank you for reaching out, please check your reddit message.

SWAP XWP
It would be good to know if this can be used for mining SWAP on AMD.
The config file examples are confusing and contradictory.

sad to see no support added for swap in the latest release 15.4.0
Are you planning on adding support for it at all?

We're pleased to release Bminer 15.4.0. The release provides:
  * Improve performance of Cuckaroo29 / Aeternity.
  * Improve compatibility on Windows.
  * Add an experimental flag --fast to improve the performance for Cuckaroo29 / Aeternity, but it might lead to unstability on some systems.

Please see https://www.bminer.me/releases/ for more details.

Happy mining.

I tried the new 15.4 with the --fast flag and it will not accept any shares on thegrinpool. I went back to version 15.3.1 and it will not work either now. Is there a way to disable the --fast flag once it has been activated or is simply removing it from the command line sufficient. I am on Windows 7 with a 1070

Sorry to say, but can't get it stable on any of my rigs, to much rejected shares, -fast function doesn't work either.

Tested on Simplemining, 1060, 1070, 1070ti and 1080ti rigs.

Sticking with Gminer for the moment.

I noticed only a slight improvement in speed with gtx1070:
4.41 G/s (v15.3.1) -->  4.45 G/s (v15.4.0)
