My guess is that things will level off around a total environment of 10 PH/S. That will be some crazy high difficulty.

I know this might be wishful thinking but worth asking I think.

If you are able to complete August orders and still have remaining stock could October orders start shipping out early?

Thanks

I believe that the 100TH units will have priority over the October orders, seeing as they are already delayed. The August units will be units that were originally intended to be used for 100TH.

***CHIPS IN STOCK NOW***

I've received 5,200 chips in trays of 270.  I can sell them for 1BTC/chip as samples.  Since chip price is now pegged to BTC, I'm trying to figure the best way to put them up on the store without extensive hacking of the store code.

In any case if you want chips, you can email sales@megabigpower.com with Qty Requested and Shipping Address.  We'll invoice you for the number of chips you want.  Meantime I'll try to get something up on the store.

Remaining stock: 4900

Yvonne has graciously agreed to NO MINIMUM QTY.  That's right - you can order a single chip, or two if you want to make matching earrings.

Cheers,
Dave

I added sample chips to the store - sorry no CC ordering at this time, but if you can pay Dwolla or BTC they will ship immediately.  My plan is to peg BTC weekly on Saturdays.

I'm attempting to order 4 chips, which you say is 1BTC each, but BitPay wants to charge me 4.411BTC. The exchange rate does not appear to have changed 10% in the last 24 hours, so what's up with this?

The USD exchange rate BitPay are using is $99 according to https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates - shouldn't Dave be using that to set his price instead of the MtGox rate?

Just to follow up, I've been in contact with Dave privately via email and he's updated the pricing on the site to match the BitPay exchange rate, so I'm now happy and have placed and paid for my order.

From the EU thread.  Looks like punin is off to China and planning to start shipping next week...

Any news for the august orders (StarterKit & Full Miner)?
Estimated delivery date?
What steps are still open to achieve for bitfury for a successful delivery of the august orders?

.-)

- Latest news is I'm going to China tomorrow to test the H-board produced on the 2nd assembly line. I'll be back on friday, so don't be surprised if I'm a bit hard to reach.
- Currently I expect to start shipping next week.
- We need to get the H-boards, attach them to M-boards, run tests, pack in boxes, ship.

Yeah, the GOT TO start shipping next week. Smiley Otherwise they wont make it "by the end of August" deadline promise.
Would be very cool when they do, the only ASIC company that hasn't lied about timeframes and definitely would earn my future business.

I hope I get my August kit before August 29th.. I'll be out of town for a couple days then and I don't want to miss out on hashing right away. I just hope everything will be OK. I won't be overly worried if Dave is a few days into Sept..

Given the proximity to shipping time, I still don't see the shipping options in "My Account."  I thought there were going to be a few available to choose from.

Niko is working with a different fab to try to get additional pipeline going.  He already has PCB underway from last week.  Not sure when they will begin assembly.

I'm expecting status from China late tonight - I hope we will have confirmed operating H-boards!  At that point, we will go full speed ahead.  PCB is not waiting for this - we took another big $$$ gamble that they will have PCB correct this time, so the assembly is the only thing waiting for this confirmation.
