Holy moly, that's awful soldering. That's how you make magic smoke come out of mysterious black boxes and such. They look like they were hand soldered by a high school student just starting out with no knowledge of the difference between a closed, open, or shorted circuit (they're all circuits, right?). Time to break out the desoldering kit. Relevant Wikihow with solder wick or solder sucker: http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-SolderPSA: DO NOT fire up your Bitfury without looking over *all* of your solder connections. You can usually fix these by running the tip of a clean soldering iron between the bridged pins. Some of the excess solder will stick to the iron. Clean it off and repeat until the bridge is gone. If that doesn't fix it, then it's time to move on to solder wick... Apply some rosin flux and heat with a fine tip solder, the bridge should break immediately. |

I hope Dave breaks radio silence soon - I'm actually starting to feel a little disappointed that my order has been in a "ready to ship" state for two days now...
The silence does seem like we might be in for some bad news...it certainly seems unusual. Hopefully everything is ok. |

The silence does seem like we might be in for some bad news...it certainly seems unusual. Hopefully everything is ok. this time yesterday we saw orders up to 87 or so change status, but nothing today... odd and a little dissapointing |

#13X still sitting at CC paid, i will be a little dissapointed if it doesnt update tonight. Punin shipped pretty much every single on of his orders within 2 days, and dave has had the entire set of m and h boards since friday

Just got a tracking number. Delivery tomorrow before noon. I had them ship with my FedEx account. I think they are shipping but delayed in getting tracking numbers out. I just got my number and the miner is already out of WA and on it's way. Probably picked up/dropped off early today. |
