I'm going to leave the p2pool up for the next 24 hours. It looks like it just needed to run for awhile and work out some kinks.
Let me know if there are any issues.

The testing of the Push pool revealed a serious problem in the payouts. Although the payouts looked correct, they were not accurate and in favor of the pool. Unfortunately to fix this is a big job, and will take alot of time. It was decided to try and set up a p2pool in the meantime to assist our miners.
This is gone well, although unlike the push pool we can not stop miners from using the beta pool. It maybe nessecary to restart the pool or there may be bugs to be sorted out and adjustments to be made.
One thing we don't like is the size of the PPLNS window.. It will take some time before miners reach full payouts, and we are in the process of determining whether miners are being paid accurately..
For those miners who have connected we have decided to give them bonuses between 500 and 2000 SXC each, so they are assured that it was not a futile exercise, and in some cases have made more profit than they would solo mining for a day.. If you've had "strange payments" come through, it's the dev team making sure you don't lose out.
It takes days to make sure a pool is stable, so there will be no official opening until we know things are running smoothly...
And of course a big thank you to Lavajumper who has installed the pool on his server very quickly...

Okay.. It seems the PPLNS window changes about every 3 hours.. Which means even though I've pulled my miners off the pool to see how it goes with just the smaller miners it will take some time to adjust..

I liked the idea of premining and giving all of it away for bounties and recently events like a new pool. I still hope, chinsu is one of you guys, who's giving all these coins away, and only waiting for the right moment for his coming-out or has given all his premined coins to you developers. |

The new sexcoin DEV team has no premine coins. Chinsu is not in the DEV team. The coins that he premine are lost with him. We don't think that he will never come back. The coin is far better without him! We simply have many coins because we never stop believe in sexcoin even with low difficality. We never stoped mining .... As soon as our official website is Ready we will start a big -non stop- give away .... sexcoins for everyone .... |

I will totally agree on that ... we are working to make it happen... First coin must be strong and then on exchange ... 100% agree in making the coin strong before hiting an exchange, want it to hold its value, not just on the exchange to be dumped. |

One of the most worrisome thing for us today was the payouts.. quite simply we did not know how well they were working.. We didn't want the miners wasting their hashpower for nothing.. Don't forget we are miners and we know how it would upset us if we joined a pool and didn't get a payout.. In some cases miners were paid twice by different devs.. But the idea was to make sure miners weren't out of pocket.. And besides these miners have been loyal in backing the coin up, and they deserve a bonus.. Now you know that you can keep your miner on the pool, and if theres any problem, you won't lose out by it. Yes Chinsu is gone, but we have kept hashpower on the network when the difficulty was ridiculously low, and while we don't have the resources chinsu had, we have some coin between us. We can't offer 500,000 as a bribe to an exchange, nor should we. But we can provide bonuses where it provides the most good... I for instance want to hold some coin back.. when we get to the point we are providing plugins, I want those websites using SXC plugins to receive some to get them started as a promotion.. Anyhoo.. I hope that makes things clearer.. |

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately when I use all four of those nodes I get snyc issue and stuck at block, with one node I can mine all day and not ever go out of sync, which I prefer personally.
in that case delete the peers.dat from Roaming forder and use maxconnections=2 addnode=68.52.140.186:9560 addnode=67.191.160.195:9560 Let me know ... Working great so far will update if that changes. |

I am particularly interested in the low hashrate miners. Are you guys getting your share? Its hard to tell from the graphs.
This evening, I hope to get more granular statistics implemented.
Also, as a head's up, Digger and I are working on getting the PPLNS window shortened. It will require code edits and a restart of the server. I'll give everyone fair warning when I get ready to do that.

Sigh.. Slept in bigtime.. It is fustrating not knowing whether the miners are getting fair shares.. From what I can see on the stats page, they are, and I'm thinking we'd be getting complaints by now if they didn't..
Missed out on the 5K block found by the pool.. I bet they were happy with that !. I've never hit one..
One thing I've kept an eye on is the network hashrate which has gone up.. at one point I thought it was slowly returning to "normal", but this morning it's moving up again..
