No matter what you are investing in, you have expectations. If I invest in a cryptocurrency that meets my expectations, I will sell it because greed has no good results.
yes, we must understand the profits already obtained, we can not be greedy to get a bigger profit, it will lead to losses. Crypto investment is different from other investments, the price movement is very fast, if we are not satisfied and enough with the benefits gained, could be losses that we will get.

This is a common situation where every crypto trader gets stuck at, at least once. Being new to trading, you've made a considerably decent amount of profit and you should probably sell your alts when they are still at their peeks. Set upper limits for tokens and when they hit them, sell as soon as you can knowing that it won't go up any further.
Of course it would be hard to digest if a token went up after you sold it but you should still be happy that you ended up with profit when there were possibilities of crashes too.

Selling token is always a case to case basis. Some are setting goals when it reach at a certain value they sell it right away. For others they do it because it is necessary they need instant cash. In my own opinion it all depends on satisfaction when you think its enough that's the right time to sell because that's what satisfied me.

I am selling because prices have gone up so high. And if we sell this week will certainly be difficult because the market is down. And I'm better for the time being keep the coins again. As I predicted at the end of this year the coins will rise even higher.

No one knows for sure about the future, and all I do to get a big profit is just waiting for the right moment to buy and sell when I really need money or I think get a very high price.

I would advise you to wait for a while until the coin grows in price, and at the first fall sell it, it is better to do it in growth

I personally will sell when the total calculation of profit has been achieved because from the beginning have made the target. Creating a target will give some kelebehian ie you can earn profits as expected and make you more careful when selling, but the drawback is that when the price signifies an increase then you will lose a few percent of it should but I think it does not matter because more stunned when prices suddenly plummeted.

the best thing is to wait, the time the coin's value grows again. when the coin is growing the price then we have been given a profit with the increase of it

Hello! If you invest within the scope of risk that you can control, then you must know when to sell your coins. You are a very investment plan person. Each person's investment plan is different. I think your current idea can control the risk

If you have altcoins, I think you should know that it is almost impossible to buy or sell a coin at the perfect price. Thus, I think you should always try your best, instead of always trading with big hesitations.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.
"Time to sell" would really depend on the person. I usually set a goal in terms of % as to how much I would like to earn from each currency. Once that goal is reached or beyond, I sell! No need for me to wait any longer even if it keeps rising coz that's just greed! And people usually fail in the end because of greed. Something that many among us have painfully experienced...

I believe it's exceptionally hard to foresee, and each circumstance is extraordinary. One great alternative is to set your leave point when you go in, and afterward stick to it. In any case, the entire thing is troublesome. Particle has been soaring for a long time now, however I haven't purchased in - I continue supposing it will redress. One issue is that there is a ton of frenzy purchasing and frenzy offering that causes these colossal value vacillations. On the off chance that you realized that a revision would be continuous, it is anything but difficult to offer soon after the pinnacle... however, redresses are regularly bluff edge falling.

It is so difficult to understand when the coin grows in price, it seems to you like it will last a long time and there will still be a chance to sell it at a good price, when the moment passes you feel sorry to sell at a low price and wait for the next price increase, you must understand the market very well for the right choice.

We don't know which highest price of altcoin will to go,  and in trading to maximum the profit I think use trailling stop is best idea,  by use this functions we will not miss big profit when the price bull run. And one more thing  is never be greedy when taking profit.

If the price of a coin is now higher in the market than the price of an ICO, then most often I immediately sell coins.

I think it is time to take the word altcoin, can see that bitcoin prices are rising sharply during the past few days and are showing signs of slowing down, in my experience is preparing for big fluctuations in prices Bitcoin, so you should begin to take the words altcoin and transfer to bitcoin. This recovery, I think bitcoin price will reach $ 7000 level.

Set up a profit target in a time frame. If the profit target is hit you can sell. Or set up a stop loss which will help you to cut your losses as early as possible and get out of the coin.

I will hold my altcoins and sell at the time I think I have made enough profit from them, at least in double or triple.
