I think that we should never expect even more growth than we already have. The most correct strategy is trade parts! If your bunk has doubled, then you can sell half of it to exclude losses, and leave the other half in the hope of further growth.

I do not sell tokens just like that. I'm all tied up on how much I want to get from this token based on the price from the ICO, I'm not greedy, so I only have x3 or x4 from the ICO price. So I do not sell cheap.
Correct. No need to sell at a loss. I have a target price for each coin and if I want to sell I am not selling below that price ever.

There's no correct way to answer that as it depends on everyone's personal preference. Some people know when to cut their loses and some have balls and the determination to keep holding in the hope that they will once rise again. I personally only have a few coins (Bitcoin, BitcoinCash and Ethereum that I'm a long term holder of. The rest I don't have much faith in and hold very little of them but it's money I can afford to lose so I'm just holding them as a gamble that in a few years they might have gained some ground. If not then I haven't lost much and it was a failed speculation but it's what I can afford to lose.

I know When its come to time to sell my altcoins that time is that bitcoin price will be around 25k dollar and ethereum price will be 2500 dollar. You should buy from this prices that are very low now and you should choose your target price. After that coins hit the target you should sell your coins.

You just have a plan with your coins. Don't sell to early. You must need patience. Don't be greedy there is time for everything. You just hold your altcoin to become profitable.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.
I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%. Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.
Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.
The best time to sell coins will be when the market is fully recovered and the price will grow significantly.

It helps to have a profit and loss margin. Trading cryptos isn't particularly like trading currencies. When you research on a project and identify it's potential, you can back it for the long-term, even if it's currently in a downtrend.

Offering token is dependably a case to case premise. Some are defining objectives when it reach at a specific esteem they offer it immediately. For others, they do it since it is essential they require moment money. As I would like to think everything relies upon fulfillment when you think its enough that is the correct time to offer since that is the thing that fulfilled me.

The best time to sell your altcoins if it has a high price because you will get a huge profit with it if you start to sell your holdings, but if the price of your holdings is low do not sell it because you will regret it if you sell it already.

For me, there is not any special formula. When the price of selected altcoin rise up to the price that I brought, that is the right time to sell. But if you are looking for target profit then wait untill reach to that value.

I wait when the coins grow twice to get a good profit. I do not see the point of selling coins when the profit is only 15-20%.

There is no need of stressing yourself on when to know the time to sell your altcoins, the market will speak for itself and you will reason along with it.

The right time to sell your coins it's when the hype is high. So probably the price of the tokens are at it's peak. You should take advantage of it because there will be a day when it's price will have a massive drop. On thing I realized in crypto is, you have don't be greedy and set only a realistic price goal then it's time to sell =)

I don't know when its time as i don't have enough time to monitor markets. I am a long-term investor and check my delta app perhaps 1-2 times per month. This is all short term price action for me and happy in the projects I have invested in.

when is the right time to sell my coins? hmmmm, the answer is quite easy, I sell it if it's profitable, if I buy 20 $ then I sell at 30 $, the logic is easy like that

Let's be honest: practically no one of us involved in cryptocurrency trading is prepared to face the great uncertainty that prevails in this market, so I know countless cases of investors who having managed to amass a significant fortune at the end of the year, were unable to predict the subsequent fall of the market and many of them have lost up to 90% of what they had in December. And I am one of them.
Therefore, this crypto trading is a tough business, for which I have stripped myself of all unjustified hope and proceed to sell any altcoin I have as soon as I am granted at least a 20% profit.

Now is definitely not the time to sell altcoyins. Now is the right time to buy them. The main thing is to choose a suitable coin and keep to the chosen strategy.

You can not know the exact time, you need to navigate according to the data that you have and already from this draw a conclusion.
Yes, you are right, no one can know the exact time for the profitable sale of altcoins. We can only assume and act on the basis of our knowledge and experience. We need more historical data, and the history of crypto is too short to give us such data. But poking around is not a solution either. So we need to arm ourselves with as much statistics as we can to pick the right target time to sell a particular coin.

It's good to make profits in crypto trading but we should also learn to always protect out capital from unnecessary losses due to the large volatility in cryptos. We should also practice to prevent greed in trading and take profit when due.
