I think whave to peruse more about data previously offer the altcoins. Furthermore, Iam looking foor the great time to offer altcoin. Since, the time impact about the coins previously we offer. So my assessment, we need to pause and read more data about coins it's anything but difficult to know the ideal time to offer altcoin, when you purchase altcoin lower than the present value, at that point you can offer it now. It's that simple, don't think too tackybefore we might want to offer it.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.

I know the time when im gonna sell my altcoins. Either when my altcoin project became good, or became a bad project.
You know that if your coin price goes up or down with a significant amount, something must be happened. That is your decision either to cut your loss, or gain your profit.

I often set goals for my work. With the same pennies, if you lose too much I will sell and if I get the desired profit I will sell it immediately.

Personally, when I buy my altcoin and plan on holding for long term, I usually set a target for them and ones it reach that value, I sell off and wait for the market to fall before I buy back again. It is always good to have a target for your coin and you should not be too greedy, when it gets to a value you know you will make reasonable profit, it is better you sell because in the process of still waiting for it to rise more, you do not know what may happen to the price.

When I hold or buy a coin I would have made a plan about the profit or loss that I will achieve, but usually the indicator about what time I sell the coin is when the volume is very large, I play it safe because if that happens the big chances are that the coin drops, usually I also see news first before selling whether there is good news about the coin or not.

In this game, the best thing is for you is to draft out a plan/strategy and play by your own rules. A strategy that works for me might not work for you. Knowing how to read the chat goes a long way in helping you know when to sell and when to keep holding. Personally, I'm not too greedy, I have a price target for all my altcoins and once they hit that target, I sell off, depending I have the feeling they won't go higher, but in cases where prices crash, I hold for as long as possible if I believe the coin has potentials to bull again, but if not, I cut lose when it crashes to a point where I'll lose very little or nothing.

If the sale price is higher than the purchase price, and you are satisfied with this difference in the quality of the profit - that's the time for sale. The main thing is not to be too greedy, otherwise you risk losing everything.

When I buy coins, I plan at what price I will sell them.  And when the price grows, then I sell the coins and get a profit.

I will sell my holdings at my desired price and convert it into bitcoin, I sell it on that price because I think I already have enough earnings to 50% of my investment and I won't regret on that even if the price will still up.

In my investment strategy, i always make price range price for the coin that I invested in. Whenever its reach to the limited price at the bottom or top, i would sell all of coin no matter it could go higher price or it got lost. Its sound a very simple strategy but i've earned a lot of money from it. The limited price plays an important role in my investment i think.

It all depends on the situation on the market.  I will wait when the price of coins grows at least 50%.  I do not see the point of selling coins at a low price.

I sell my coins depending on the situation. Usually I sell 70% of token when it peak and I have good proit, and hold another 30% if i think it can rise more

Each person has his own formula, by which he determines when to sell coins and when to buy coins. I look at the schedules, capitalization and future prospects of the project.

You can sell your cryptocurrencies when you see that you have got the profit already. Now, I am not going to get rid of my tokens and Bitcoins. Probably, I will do it in 2019 but the time will show.

if in my opinion when you have got a profit then that is the right time to sell the altcoin that you have and my advice do not be too long to hold when you have got a profit, because market prices go down faster now.

I have set regular price target for all of my altcoins (including LTC, XRP, ETH...) and whenever the target is achieved I do partial profit booking. Also, I dump coins which don't show any major movement for over 6 months. Cool

if for coins that are not so strong, it should be as soon as possible to sell them when prices go up, but if for coins like BTC, I feel safe to survive in the long run. but if for trading it would be safer to sell as soon as possible when market prices rise because the market is very unstable. therefore we must always look at the market so as not to lose a good moment.

When the common market is on the rise - it's about time. Or when the market falls, and altcoin grows on the contrary - the same time. Maybe not everything, maybe a part, to wait for the moment of critical growth, but this if you believe in the project and expect that he will go to the top 100.

To know when your altcoin can be sell off, just be watchful of the market, when your token is showing sign of rise,  this can be indicated by green light, that mean it is rising by then you can sell or follow it on the coin market cap if it is already listed there.

If the price has gone up and all the coins to green the right time to sell the coins. I see that for the moment sells a coin is not the right time. I will wait until I can get a benefit of about 30% new I will sell.

I sell coins at a time when I understand that the price has reached its maximum value. One of the indicators of this is a decrease in trading volumes.
