Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.

Actually i cant know when is the time for selling. because of that always i am holding my good altcoins.
and i choose a target for me. for example when my portfolio reach 200k dollar i will sell my everything.
i will do something like that. because if we will try to find good time for selling and good time for buying we can do some mistakes.
and that is really risky for me . i believe cryptos future so i am holding my bags until i reach my target.

It seems to me that the best time is hard to find. But I found a way much easier. There are so many channels with signals and when I see the coin that I need I just sell it. So far, for me it is the best and most profitable way

I will just wait for a significant increase in the price of tokens and coins that I hold, since if the price rises quickly, then soon it will also fall quickly, so you need to have time to sell at the right time.

I sell a crypt only by need, when life circumstances force it to be done) but in general it is necessary to save the crypt) in 2-3 years it will be completely different amounts

The best time is when the coin is worth as much as possible. And I daily study exchanges to understand whether it is worth selling a coin now. So in my opinion it's just as individual and everyone has their own methods of finding the greatest benefit

When the price for a given altcoin is appropriate then it is worth selling, but this is everyone’s business, because many people have been holding for a long time

First rule, don't be greedy. Greed will make you lose at the end of the day. Set a target, once it hits.... Take profit and never look back. HODL is best applied when you bought altcoins especially at dip and it got dipper, it shouldn't be applied when in profit unless you can read the future of the project but in this crypto space, one can't predict.

first I will examine the coin on the off chance that it has an awesome potential, im just picking a coin which is justified, despite all the trouble and hold it for an objective time which is 3yrs. In the event that the coin didnt work or changes in development inside 2 years sick offer it and locate another great coin. On the off chance that the coin is indicating mind blowing grwoth inside my objective time sick offer it when it achieves my objective time.

I generally set an objective for the amount I need to make, any coin that gets a half increment from my purchasing cost stands out enough to be noticed and I observe consistently till I feel it might drop again or simply offer at the 100% edge stamp and reinvest.

For me, the best time to sell altcoin is when the price is really worth it because there has a possibilty that the price is really down and sometimes is continues to raise. However, it depends in the situations because there is really a moment that you should sell your altcoin or else it will be useless though it has a worth but not so high at all.

Particularly I sell when I think I am comfortable with the profit level, sometimes I sell at a loss if a coin is obvious it is not showing any obvious sign of growing into profit

I always look at how much the project price has changed in relation to the price of ICO. Then I look at the potential of the project, whether it develops. Then I draw conclusions about the sale.

I think for the right time we sold my altcoin, for us when we saw higher market prices so we would also get more profits, because seeing the development of market prices also increased, so I would also get many benefits.

It is very easy to know when i'm sell my altcoin . if i'm buy $2 par coin and when it is reach $3 i'm sell on that time.
Your reason might be one of the strategies in investing in trading with cryptocurrencies and you are an investor who is good at taking advantage of opportunities to make a profit. I sell if you really need the investment.

When the ovation is loudest and many are getting hysterical about possibilities of a project to the point of ignoring the effort and work it will require to make a success of the coin you are holding, that is when to get out!

Everyone will tell you different story about when to sell. Some people are here for the flash profits, they are ok for 10-50% of profits, other people believe in technology and will not sell their coins till the end of the roadmap.

If we are talking about altcoins received for participating in a bounty campaign, then these tokens should be sold as quickly as possible. If you mean the coins that you bought in the spring, then it is better to wait. It is possible that the market situation is stabilizing and the altcoins will rise in price.

In those cases when you need money very urgently, it’s best not to touch the cryptocurrency and this is certainly a very important measure, but you understand that it is very difficult to do this, so I would probably recommend acting on the situation.

Every trader should have laid out plans and strategies. Whenever you feel you have achieved your desired profit target, you can sell your altcoin, and that is a great win for you. instead of selling at your own detriment due to the pressure in the market.

I do something that make sure that i am never in conflict about the time to sell my altcoins and what I do is that once aI buy the coins I make sure to write down a price I would be willing to sell for after calculating all of the price and the profits that I am expecting to make from the coin so when coin hits that price, I sell without much contemplating.
