I don't know what you did since you posted this topic last December, but if you haven't started with your investment I would suggest that you start with a relatively small amount for starters. You need to have an actual involvement with trading for you to fully understand how it works. I would advice that you do not expect too much at first. Because you might only get disappointed if things don't  go well or as you expect them to happen. Observe, study,  and apply. That's what I did.

With $5000 my advice will be to secure $1000 in BItcoin  $2000 in ICO. (diversification is need atleast invest in minimum 5 ICO  $200 for each of them.) the remaining $2000 in altcoins. $1000 mostly coins that just got listed on CMC  with potential and $1000 top10 for long term purpose. Don't forget DYOR don't follow market predictions

5000 is a great amount for me, I have many options for you to invest, for the safe trade you can put your money into altcoin that has the popular user, like ethereum, Eos, LTC, and other popular coins, but it will give you little profit, this is the great profit, that you inviting in ICO project. it will give you big profit if the project success in the public. but it has bigger risk than the first method. so it's your decision that picks your choices

I think the strategy is good to invest or buy in parts of investment in selected coin I think to put all funds in altcoins and in good coins is best strategy and don’t putt all funds in one time buy coins in different steps because when it will down you can pick at bottom and when it will pump again you will gain good profit from it,

the investment strategy in bitcoin I think quite a lot, so depending on what we want to choose which way, the most important we take a way that we can understand also. if we do not understand then we will be difficult.

i think the best strategy is to buy it when the coins is in low value, by then you should be patient enough to monitor it when its value jumps up high, it will give you more profit when you do that, also you should always monitor it so you will know when it will gets high or not, be patient to wait if the flow gets slower.

Yes, it is good enough to invest first in a little amount of money inorder to easily moved on when mistakes comes. We need to have great patient because cryptocurrecy especially bitcoin is very volatile in value and right time with right correction are the great benefits of having great patient always.

Assuming you have not yet started, I would suggest that you invest in Bitcoin and in a few altcoins. This is to increase your chance of earnig profit. I wouldn't suggest for you to start off with ICO investment yet. You need to do some research first before chipping in any project.
