On low volume compared to what? Not low compared to historical volume...

low volume based on the order book. There current limit orders on bid side cannot handle a several thousand share sell order. And thats only like $2000 us dollars.

Friction causing price gap :
1) No usable BID orders to efficiently sell on btct
2) Long waits to get btc out of btct.co due to burnside having to manually withdraw from cold storage
3) 6 confirms on weexchange
4) Large ASK walls on bitfunder  (people bought at lower prices and are more willing to sell)
5) Lack of desire to hold BF over btct.co

Do you actually know how long it takes to withdraw more than the maximum manual limit takes on BTCT?

I've made a large withdrawal and it only took 4 hours.  I believe it's manual on burnside's part so it's just up to how busy he is and his availability.

On a side note, has anyone heard of any news regarding the G.SDICE payout?

Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm still torn on whether I should risk attempting to withdraw a more significant amount of bitcoins from BTCT over to Bitfunder and having the transaction occur before the S.Dice payout/taking advantage of general arbitrage or keep that amount of btc here in order to take advantage of a likely pullback from .009.

Youre a brave man Floates, I was thinking of doing similar but the thought of having sold all my shares and then the price never coming down, leaving me way behind unsettles my stomach

I have definitely had some good trades and some bad trades with this stock. For example, somehow I managed to buy at .004 and sell at .0047 or so multiple times in half a day, but I also managed to sell at .49, buy back at .59 only to sell at .64 then buy at .69. Overall I would imagine my profit to be within +- 7% or so of someone who simply held.

In any case, I didn't have time to sweat over whether to risk a manual withdrawal because my bid order in case of pullback from .009 has been filled. Also, I am still extremely happy today because I'm sure all of us have made a tremendous amount of money in the last 12 hours

Fortune favors the brave.  Every trading decision you make could result in either a loss or a profit.

I'm glad I sold off a portion of my shares at .009 before the price tanked.  Waiting for the withdrawal transfer to go through to bitfunder so I can take advantage of the arbitrage or grab some cheap ASICminer shares.

Try putting in a bid instead of buying at the current rate.

re: weex
Inputs.io has really made just-dice transfers incredibly easy and fast. Perhaps Bitfunder should look at other options...

I have been thinking the same thing. Imagine if both exchanges supported inputs.io -- nearly instant transfers would make arbitrage easy to do, and the price might become less volatile. Weexchange is also terribly buggy and clunky feeling. I tried to make a second account and it kept telling me the verification code was invalid... no response to my support email in a week.
