If you have bought bitcoin about a month ago, then right now you have got good profit. I believe you should hold only 20% or 30% and sell rest of them and buy other altcoins.

dont need to wait till a month i think, just buy a week ago, and then got profit than i ever made before
i think we should HOLD 50:50 for bitcoin, 50% altcoin thats more than enough though that bitcoin price is go to moon then we need to be careful to trading in altcoin

for me it is now more appropriate to do day trading, because if I see bitcoin prices go up and down alternately with a considerable difference, this will be a great advantage with the right timming.

The BTC is fluctuating heavily but after every drop it rises again with 30-40%.
Personally I would hold the coin. I think the BTC will reach 25k before the summer of 2018.

I think bitcoin will still go up, its just the matter of time, for me selling bitcoin because of the little dropping is stupid, a lot of newbie panic because of the price drop and according to people's speculation that the price will drop, when you already long involve in bitcoin you should know that panic selling is the thing that need to be avoided

People who are new to the crypto world will mostly panic in these kinds of volatile prices because they may not be used to it. If anything goes high very fast has to go through correction process and currently that is what happens. Because from 10K to 17K Bitcoin reached quite fast and now correction mode after that slowly it will go higher than 17K so just hold on to your bitcoins if you're not in a need of urgent funds.

It depends on the holding power of investor, if one have the spare money for bitcoin then he should not sell it as the people predicts its higher value in the future. It is better to wait rather than to sell. If there is fluctuation in the trading market one should not be in panic as it does happen in business so it may be taken as part of the game and not very serious matter. It is established currency in market as it is harder for others to compete with it.

The price of the bitcoin today is already 16, 800 dollars and I think it will continue to increase in the next few weeks so it's your choice if you want to sell your bitcoin or you can hold it. But make sure if you sell your bitcoin you will not sell all your bitcoin because possible the price increase more and if that happen you will lose some profit.

depends in the hodlers of bitcoin what is the right time for he/she need to sell their bitcoins, but i can see the future of bitcoin in 2018 i think continue to hyip the price value in the marketcap, i always believe hodl  bitcoin give better profits.

Is just the matter of days to come and the value of Bitcoin will hit the highest height ever in the crypto currency history. We still have some days before end of December and who knows whether Bitcoin will not hit $20,000 before end of December this year. So i  will advise you to keep holding your Bitcoin for the train has just began the upward movement and currently Bitcoin value as at time of this post is $17,096.93 with the believe that it will continue to increase in value.

No matter the entry point. It is an investment and for sure, everyone have a reason why they are investing, but deciding to go all out as a result of panic and not because the OP or anyone in his shoes deem it fit to want to make that decision by themselves or because they really want to, is kind of pathetic to me.

Keep believe on bitcoin price and believe that the price of it will continuously increase. Some people are spreading bad news because they only want to dump the price of bitcoin by spreading rumors so that they will be able to buy more bitcoin at the lower price and when they will buy then they will support bitcoin and they know that after the end of this year the price of bitcoin will reach to $50000 or more.

It is panic like the one OP is displaying right now that makes the strong hands to play with the weaker hands emotion. It is an investment and the reason they call it holding is because you understand the risk and you are ready to still stick with it as long as you understand the value it is going to give in the long run.

We have not seen mass adoption yet. OP should wait for it and see whether listening to speculations really sound better or just holding.

It really depends on how much profit you've made so far. Personally, I will hodl until it reaches at least $100,000. If it doesn't reach this level, then that's fine.

If the price does drop, I doubt it'll be a massive drop, the overall trend is upwards and it's likely to stay that way for the next couple of years.

If you REALLY need the money now, then by all means sell. But if you've got your spare cash held in bitcoins, I'd continue holding as you might regret it otherwise.

There is no specific concept to sell Bitcoin. If you want to sell all, you will lose the opportunity to earn profit for future . So Keep Bitcoin for the future besides selling . It is help for your business.

There is a hike in demand globally with CBOE/CME launching futures and banks integrating the Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in their system.

Some new major markets are growing like India and African countries bringing in more demand along with Korea and Japan.

A bill in Congress will get passed in Jan giving Bitcoin the currency status in USA bringing down the tax. Party has only started.

Just sell if you:

- You need an urgent money for emergency purposes
- You need an urgent money to buy something
- You just want some profit because you anticipate that the price will decrease later on...

...but what if price pump harder and harder after you sell?

You will never enhanced your strategy if you won't test it by yourself. Just like you said, you won't believe in random speculations so who to trust now and why still asking opinions here by others if you will also get random responses?

If you are eyeing for long term goals in bitcoin then no need to think of that. Put another capital instead if you want to invest on altcoins.

Everybody sure knows what they are looking for and so far so good, anyone who is pleased with their investment is free to sell. Someone else who see this present value as a better price and understands the value better will pick it from there. Looking at the trends from the start, I am sure no one really needs a soothsayer to know that people have been saying whatever they like about an imminent crash right from the beginning of this year.

We may just do what is pleasing for us and whatever happens at the end, you will have ourselves to blame. There is no one that can tell you what will happen even in the next few seconds.

If you are basing your investment on speculations, then you are really not ready to invest. We all understand that bitcoin is volatile, but right now, I do not see how bitcoin is going to crash, but if you have all the proof to make your decision to sell, then it is your call.

About prediction that the price can go up or down it's the usual thing, that is important for is you do not regret every decision that has been taken.
