Hi all,

All i am getting is rejected shares due to duplicate share. I am using altminer as my pool and have got ccminer working already. I have two gtx970's and my conf file is

hsrminer_neoscrypt.exe -o stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:10001 -u WALLET-ADDRESS -p x -i 2 -c 3

Thanks

That's not the correct format for altminer.net; you need something more like this:

hsrminer_neoscrypt.exe -i 2 -c 3 -o stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:10001 -u WALLET-ADDRESS -p c=TZC

Just tried that. The miner starts up but still all my shares are rejected now with a invalid job ID

try to run it, speed is faster than others miner
but in some a few minute , it become stop
try another miner app, it runs normal with same algorithm
Virtual memory already have been set more than total GPU memory.
GPU 1060,1070,1080ti.

Any solution ?

Looks like that port is for VIVO, so -p c=VIVO should be used instead. Maybe drop the -i and -c parameters completely and let hsrminer set those?

use parameter -i 1, now became more stable
i will see on the some hours

I using HSR Miner for the week, and been amazing, but today show a Trojan.

Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!plock

It's annoying yeasterday don't show nothing.
Any tips?

Look, I realize it's unrealistic to read every single post in a nearly 1000 post thread, but at least read the first and last pages... More specifically, post 926.

Sorry for that, but you thing it's safe? I bit worried, because the devs don't show up.

Yes, it's perfectly safe. The explanation I read elsewhere - and which makes perfect sense - is that mining programs are being flagged for their behavior, not because of actual malware-infection. I really wish Windows Defender had a way to easily mark a hit as a false positive rather than immediately delete the item and force a reboot on me, because that leads me to adding an exclusion to the very folders that will be first to encounter real malware - my downloads folder, USB drives and mining folder; so, counter-productive if the goal is to actually protect me.

Your mem clock is extremely low for this type of memory. Set it to 5400 at least, also delete the intesity setting. HSR miner will do the job for you and set it better. Also if you have such low temp, maybe it is not good idea to lower power limit especially for neoscrypt.

Letting hsrminer set intensity has resulted in a mysterious drop in hashrate by 100-150 kH/s after 1-3 hours of operation, and this is with two separate GTX 1080 on two very different machines. But in the spirit of science I'll try your suggestions. I noticed you don't mention anything about core clock, though, and that seems to be the source of woes for me.

Right now my Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix edition is hashing at 1208 kH/s while drawing 166W at 85% PL, -125 core (varying between 1595 to 1670) and +300 mem (4811). (while typing this the hashrate dropped to 1176 kH/s... sigh).

My older EVGA GTX 1080 FE is hashing at 1218 kH/s while drawing 146W at 85% PL, +125 core (1633 to 1658) and +300 mem (4811 again).

In both cases setting -i 4 resulted in about 100 kH/s lower hashrate but with no real change in stability, at least for the FE card; I didn't bother repeating the same experiment with the Asus.

I've found that too much of a memclock boost creates instability (and I haven't seen any benefit), though maybe it's because I have different cards.  I'm running about +150 core and +200 mem at 80% power on 1070 and 1060 3G, getting a slight hashrate boost but extremely stable.  Around the 1700/4000 range for both, and 1160kH/s and 740kH/s on 1070 and 1060.  Also getting 500kH/s on 1050 Ti @ stock clocks and 80% power, all very stable.

Huh, I hadn't messed with mem clock much at all so I'll give your suggestion a try. Right now I have both 1080's tied up conducting a head-to-head comparison between NiceHack® and Nemosminer/MiningPoolHub which will be running for another few days but I've been noticing occasional artefacting/black screens on the ROG Strix 1080 and that does point to vram memory errors (core errors invariably lock up the GPU completely).

With this HSR "test" miner: Around 23500 h/s
KlausT: 23500 h/s

1070-1070ti-1080 cards. Total speed should be over 26500 h/s if those readings on miner screens would have anything to do with reality. So after all, you are only lending your miner rigs for free. This is the reason why this miner is closed source, because there's no actual increasement despite what numbers are shown. Closed source because only thing added is a fee. I suggest everyone to run 24hour test with KlausT and this test-miner, then have a look for what your wallet hashrate tells you.  Roll Eyes

I have seen the increase on my pool, GTX1080 is working now at 1.38 MH/s* for 4 days and steady as rock.

More details please on actual core and mem clocks as well as power limit. I have two different GTX 1080 - an EVGA Founder's Edition and an Asus ROG Strix - and the best consistent speed I can attain is 1230 kH/s, and even this is in question based on the cumulative earnings over a 4.5 hour period on a high volume Neoscrypt pool that I trust.

So basically what this boils down to is that this is yet another crypto-scam.

Take the open source. Recompile it, add dev fee.. Make up the hash numbers so they look awesome and seem to outperform everything else out there and bam...
Big money rolling in.

In fact, I was wondering if there isn't more to it...
I mean, when you're dealing with people that nag your wallet can you expect them to be half good?
I am thinking about this "false positive" that we see from the threat manager. Can anyone actually confirm that this is not in fact some sort of add-on malware to the whole scheme? We're so used to seeing Anti-viruses flag the miners that we another positive will slip neatly beneath our radar...

Too many question marks I think...

Offsets are only useful if the base clocks are known, but even I can admit this is nitpicking at this point...  Grin

My most consistent results were obtained running at +125 core and +300 mem with 85% power limit on my EVGA 1080 FE; this translates into an actual core clock of around 1785 (it does bounce a bit because of power limiting) and an actual mem clock of 4811 (rock solid).

I just concluded another test of hsrminer on the Trezarcoin official pool and so far the results don't look good but I need all the blocks to confirm before I bury the hatchet on this one. Let's just say that with average difficulty over the last 24 hours (which would be conservative, because current difficulty spent most of the day below that) I should have earned 38 TZC but so far the sum of confirmed and unconfirmed is around 29.

Dev fee interrupts main work. Please solve this. Works flawless with 1080ti but uptime on pool side interrupts when rigs work for dev.

Good job!

NeoScrypt:
1070 - 1330 h/s (-i 3)
1070ti - 1430 h/s

P.S. Please fix the links for zipped miners in 1st post. They are mixed up.

phi has SP_mod , I know that Palgin has an idea to create a miner X17, but while he has problems on the family front the project is suspended, we are waiting for Pavel's return
