Yes I agree , bitcoin will truly change everything if you have it . and if the price or rate of the bitcoin continuously increased soon in 2018 you will have a lot of money I am sure of that . i agree that bitcoin change everything. Especially now its price has risen substantially to its previous price and because of this the view of the Bitcoin person is very high. It's not the same date that most of us know now. Bitcoin will really change everything specially the financial status of a certain people involve in BTC. That would really the exact answer because as of now my friends are experiencing the changes of their financial status because of bitcoin. Their weekly salary is equivalent to their half month salary where we work. OP probably read a lot of futuristic literature. This will never happen. Bitcoin can fairly distribute the money. Earn only those who work. But the economy cannot use bitcoin as a currency. The company will not develop the production because they will not have cheap loans. Agree that to take out a loan in bitcoins is suicide.

I'd say only sky is the limit! I can't be thankful enough to find about bitcoin at this time! When I read all posts like yours they motivate me to buy more, but sadly I invested all now waiting for the next payday but will certainly buy more when I can. Just imagine 1 million dollars!! that is huge right there in the center imagine in 2 years 2million I would be blessed if this happens.

I dont think dollar will fade, or any other strong fiat for that matter. Don't forget that bitcoin is becoming an asset right now (like gold), and not a currency. I know it has the potencial to become both, but fiat will never disappear, at least not in such a short run (since you are referring to 2018). Bitcoin first needs to get well established in the financial markets. Futures are up and running, but they are not even at full force, so let's wait for CBOE and NASDAQ to enter the market and see how it goes. If it works well, lets see ETF's coming in, and by this time, bitcoin already "stole" a big share of the gold market.
If, when LN gets deployed, bitcoin volatility is already gone, maybe we can see it becoming a payment method, but until then, we will still price everything in fiat and not BTC.
