Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018?

Logically Litecoin should not do a 5k in USD, not this year, not the next year and not the next after that! However, i agree with you that people who are making accounts on coinbase are hesitant of buying btc and instead of buying btc in fraction are buying into eth or ltc.

Yes this is true. Everyone can't afford to buy the whole one unit of bitcoin, even if they can they see litecoin and Ethereum as the second best option of crypto investment and funds diversification. The litecoin a few days ago has become a good option for investors because of its cheap price while ETH is always the choice of people after BTC.

i'm not sure that LTC will hit over $5000 price in 2018. i think it is too much to be considered as prediction. maybe next 5 years eventhough we can't predict accurately, but maybe too significant if it hit $5k in 2018. but that is just opinion, nobody knows exactly. anything can be happened in this cryptocurrency world.

It might happen, if the bitcoin price will remain stable then rise slowly, maybe Litecoin will also continue to rise, but maybe it will go down for a while for correction, but I think it will be around $1000 ,,, I estimate in Q1 2018 litecoin may be at $600-700, and possibly until the end of the year reached $1000. if the end of 2018 should reach $5000 I think it's hard for litecoin.if it reaches $5000 I think ethereum is more possible.

For me in my own speculation i think the price of litecoin can only increase around $1,000 and its impossible to reach the price of LTC to $5,000 value this is just my own speculation but in time to time the price movement of litecoin is changes so if we hear a big news about Litecoin maybe everything in movement of the price of litecoin can be also change.

That's too much for Litecoin to reach. But, I think Litecoin would pass over 1000$ barrier with no problems. 4000$ is such a big amount for Litecoin. it would take up to 2019-2020 for it to reach that kind of price point we do have a lot of positive news about it. no efforts on reaching that price point

Obviously that is perfect speculation if not gonna happen 100% to be true. There is still chance that we will hit that 5K mark for at least one of the coin LTC or ETH. Im sure that ETH will keep up the pace more or less higher than LTC always because of the market cap it is currently having. On top of all, LTC is just quickly spiked coin and there is no way people are going to trust it more than BTC or ETH so fast. They will always prefer to go with BTC --> ETH --> LTC kind of sequence. But we will surely see brighter sides of development for both coins. LTC being faster than ETH in the trisection and ETH is stronger than BTC in terms of transaction will always make difference in the future. So we always have up votes for two alts and chance to get into crypto with less investment but high output of profits.

i think 5000 $ is too much for litecoin even so litecoin so high right now but to develop to 5000 is way too far and way to big. i do believe there is a huge development for litecoin but dont think it will so big like that. maybe litecoin will be 1000 or 1500$.

This is expectation is too much but anything is possible in the the crypto currency market. We cannot which coin value will be grows more and goes to which coin and all. I noticed that there was decent bump from the past three days. I see it is almost 100 plus US dollar value crossed in very few days.

Hmm, LTC $5000 in 2018. No I don't think so, until celebrities start pumping LTC as they pumped BTC! LTC must offer something very unique and valuable for it to be in that range. And the truth is there are a lot of coins like LTC. But yes, ETH can easily reach $5000, and maybe by Q2 2018 itself.

I don't think litecoin will ever reach $5000. That isn't to say it won't pump but that would put it on par with bitcoins current valuation and I just don't see that big of a future for litecoin.

Litecoin is a good altcoin but even if it made a huge leap recently I don't think it'll reach the $5k mark in 2018 unless there would a very huge success in LTC dev's side that could pump LTC's price in the market.

LTC was one of the most stable crypto projects through years. From summer 2014 it was balancing somewhere around 0.01 BTC with only some splashes. Cannot see in the next year how and why LTC can brake this well-established relationship with BTC. So I would say LTC will come through severe correction period in some weeks to come. 2018 will stay around 0.01 as always.
