Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018?

I don’t think litecoin can reach $ 5000 unless all the cryptocurrencies and first of all bitcoin score an advance several-fold. I agree that it’s a promising altcoin but it doesn’t have as large investors as ETH, or bitcoin's popularity. A large rise can happen if litecoin concludes an agreement with big companies. Meanwhile, some investors use litecoin as an asset for covering risks. Anyway, the price will go up as a general tendency of the crypto market.

So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. I think that's a huge expectation to a coin that hasn't even reach a $100 value maybe it could reach a $1000 value but $5000 ? I think it is high enough this year. Litecoin really need some support from every investors to reach that amount.

Litecoin prices can reach $ 5000 but can't now and we don't know when that will happen, I think it definitely needs a process for that to run optimally. because litecoin is a potential coin.

Highly unlikely. Way too much. I really don't think that Litecoin's price will surge way above $1000 this year. If we were to look at it's current price at this very minute [$58.60], you were most likely exaggerating. Although we cannot deny the fact that litecoin is such a good investment because it provides much value and one can use their money without being censored and the transactions can be done quickly and effectively. Honestly speaking, i will be most happy if Litecoin will unexpectedly reach $200 to $500 before the year ends.

- That's just a number that many people are holding litecoin always dreaming and we can simply understand that the dream will never come true when it goes farther and beyond the permissible limit, $5000 is not suitable for actual conditions. Yes, Litecoin is definitely an excellent and promising token. Litecoin has potential for growth, as it has a small transaction fee. But 5000 dollars is too optimistic forecast! Especially by the end of 2018.

Actually no one could really predict how this litecoin market will behave in the next few days. Hopefully there will be a surprising market demand which could encourage many patronizers of cryptocurrency to gain more confidence and hold their asset for the future. Right now it's not certain yet, but I do recommend everybody to hold and don't panic since the market used to be stable for a few months ago.

Not a bit but very much difficult for Litecoin to grow so Big. The market has no signs to grow and if Bitcoin is expected to rise, it does not mean it will. We have had many experts speculating about worthy September which never happened. So this is something I call overestimation and this is not possible. However this might happen in long term but that would be a bit long from the current market. But being among the top coins in the market, it has a great future ahead for sure.

i think that hard, even for coin like ETH, and now price LTC is 57$ and to reach about 4k$ that need about 4000% above.
and eth now stuck at 200$, so maybe LTC can reach 4000$ about 2-5years again.

At the current market situation, Litecoin cannot reach 5000 Dollars until the end of the year. Maybe we can hit 100 Dollars in the next few months, but not more. In 3-5 years everthing can change.
