Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018?

Dont forget a flat nature of litecoin. It fires 1 time. then flat. Fire again. Flat. So now we it has risen. We need a correction to 150 - 200 to gain some potential for a new ATH. I am litecoin enthusiast and keep it since September. If you dont have much money to buy BTC, you can surely invest in LTC and it will give you multiplied profit in future. At least I recommend to hodl all the cryptos till 2021

It has the potential to cross 1000$ in 2018, but 4000 is way too much asking honestly.

Realistic Expectations are some much more valuable than "to the moon" speak.

I think Litecoin is very undervalued at the moment. While it was created as a clone/backup of bitcoin with 4 times the number of max coins, Litecoin has had improvements like Segwit and still has it's main developer active, Charlie Lee.

Having the Developer and Lead around to support Litecoin is a HUGE factor for it's success.

IMO, Litecoin should be around $800 to $1,300 by end of 2018.

if you see the lifetime chart of LTC, it was almost ideal from its birth till march 2017. Since last two to three months it's in upward trend. With this progress it may cross $500 by the end of 2017, but $5000 by 2018? Seems quite difficult but not impossible if bitcoin can travel from $700 to $17000 in a year why not other Litecoin. Investors mood can swing from any tool of investment. Investors always want less volatile and relatively safe medium of investment. Litecoin is the ideal one.

Honestly, I feel that altcoin will have a very high price because demand of people who are too big to make bitcoin and litecoin cant be used for daily transactions again, then there was the destruction of bitcoin and altcoin.

Don't know why? I think it's a little bit unrealistic, and LTC doesn't have any major technical updates, and whether 2018 is still a bull market is still a question.

Anything can be possible bro in crypto world,the price of bitcoin was around $1000 at the start of 2017 but now the price is $20K no one expect this much of price growth in one year so there is chance for price bump in litecoin also in 2018 because BTC getting too expensive so people will look for alternative option for bitcoin so litecoin and ethereum will be the best option other than bitcoin.So there is high chance of price bump in 2018.

I don't know about taking the lead but I think they will definitely become much more competitive with BTC.

i don't think $5000 is an easy target for an altcoin like Litecoin to reach. it is a good altcoin and i believe in it and i have said multiple times that it will have good rises but to go from $200ish range to $5000 will need some massive adoption and a lot of usages. and so far Litecoin doesn't have that real adoption as a currency part.

and that is the biggest problem with altcoins. when it comes to bitcoin, it is only bitcoin and what it  does and nothing competes with it. but when you start talking about altcoins it is not just litecoin, there are hundreds of them that can compete with each other. and so many of them are better than LTC.

If LTC reachs 5000$ per coin that's because people started to hold instead of using them to earn from BTC, sadly is not going to happen. Let's hope it's hit's 500$ first and wait for the moon

I think that price of Litecoin will arrive at 2%  of the bitcoin value.
His price in USD is related to BTC value in USD.
If Bitcoin arrives ad 100'000$ within 2018 with a lateralization, LTC will arrive at 2000$ or more.

With the exponential increase in market cap I think a lot of coins will do very well this year. 2 weeks ago market cap was 318 billion and last night it touched 500 billion. I hope Bitcoin maintains a steady increase allowing alt coins to grow modestly in its wake. I see the top 10 all having potential to move dramatically in 2018
