5000$ is unreal now. I believe that 90% of coins are overvalued and litecoin has a good price now. If we talk about bitcoin as a money the price 10000$ is not normal. We can't use it in daily live. May be ti buy car/home. So 300$ to the end of the year would be okay

I think you dont have bitcoin and also litecoin so thats why you think like that.
$300 would be not possible for bitcoin but still make sense for litecoin. And also hit $5000 is beyond my opinion.
As we know the marketcap is dividing by so many new token and it mean the price very difficult to increase.

So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. How I wish Litecoin reaches $5,000 this year. I might give you lots of merits if your wild prediction happens. I also believe in Litecoin but it never came to my mind that value this year alone.

On another note, I'm sure we will see higher marks ofr litecoin this year as the development team is composed of competitive members and community support is strong and healthy in comparison to other coins.

Agree with you guy. I will believe if it's Ethereum, oh but what now, you say Litecoin, noway for it. Litecoin is just simple, no good features of it to get your price. Also, if you are holding Litecoin, keep dreaming  your dream.

thinking they could reach the highest price. but it's true what you say for the price at 5k I think is very difficult in the near term, and this is very obvious it looks impossible but we alone in the next few months they will return to a higher point than the previous year.

litecoin is a great altcoins that can have a good chance to compare with bitcoin since the day it was born, thanks to promising technology that can be used in payments, litecoins was called the best just after bitcoin but until now, through years without any improvement, i see it will be very hard for litecoin to reach 5000$ in this year.

It would be great if litecoin get to $5000, I will pay my house off if that happens.  I think $500 - $600 is more realistic. But you never know, as many people are predicting bitcoin to be $100,000 by then end of the year, if that happens litecoin could get to $5000. We can all dream.

now 2018 and i didn't see any big pump for Litecoin even more likely most of cryptocurrencies in the down trend currently and even though the price will climbing up again soon but i highly doubted Litecoin even can more than $2000 especially in this year and indeed i do agree with the post above me that only Ethereum can possible to reach to $5000 and for other coin i don't think it will possible

It is not gonna happen in 2018 for Litecoin to grow to that figure. Trading as low as below $200 today, $5000 is certainly not realistic in the next 1, 2, or even 3 years. LTC still has a long way to go.

Your assumption is good but even Bitcoin took lots of effort to reach at $5000 and not Bitcoin is at its highest pick. So by Litecoin has to take a long journey to reach at $5000.

The coin is good, but I think more than 1000 it will not cost so as there is no good news for it! but the coin is relatively stable in comparison with the rest of the violas and does not depend on bitcoin
