Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018?

Litecoin is an excellent cryptocurrency but I doubt it can exceed 5.000 dollars in 2018. The project is developing very well, has a good community but I think at best it could reach a maximum of $1500

If the marketcap of cryptos will reach 2-3 trillions in 2018, your forecast could really become an reality.

Still maybe .... And not only litecoin could jumping that high once the marketcap reach that number. It's a safe coin that grow slowly but so steady. If you looking for a high return with of course high risk , start making your own research on a new altcoins that has a lot of breakthrough things such as cardano , cheap coins that possibly turn to insane expensive!

I respect and I like Litecoin. But I very much doubt that the price will so grow. This is not realistic.

Wow where did you get that information. $5k from 3digit is a so huge. Sometimes shills like this  will lead you to buncrrapcy or loss money. But one thing I remember LTC is always the starter of altcoin season.

So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. I don't think so. This is too much expectation from LTC. But if it happens I will be very happy. I stored some LTC and hope it will make me happy in future.

For now, things look pretty good about Litecoin. It will be interesting to track the development of the price in the coming months. I think a possible jump of over $ 1000 is quite possible, but I do not expect any more.

Oh no, it won't be 5000$, it is too large price for this fork of Bitcoin. Litecoin is a very promising coin, but i guess that it will costs ~500-600$ to the end of this year, no more.

I do not really like to rely on predictions. It looks very good, of course. But will it really be so? Many predictions and analyzes are specially launched to the masses, so that people start raising / dropping prices on the market

I really admire you for being so optimistic about LTC and so do I, but IMHO price of LTC in the end of the year will be ranging only from 450-800, 5k is such a huge increase considering its current value at the moment.

Even $1,000 is a giant leap on litecoin this year as it means around $60 billion in market capitalization which at this current time makes it at par with ethereum. But I am also hopeful because most of these top coins including ethereum will also grow after this bear market ends.

Agree with this opinion, LTC is potential coin but 5k$ is too high target for this year.
I think it's possible that LTC reach 1k if the total capital is over 1000B $.

That much growth will not be possible if we see the performance this year. However, the coin is really good as it has very less fees.
