Sure will be many people who lose interest and leave crypto if bitcoin die. But people will be able to survive in crypto if there is altcoin that can replace bitcoin, or coins that are still alive and can provide income for its users.
Altcoin that I want to invest when bitcoin is gone is Etherum.

It depends on the situation. And People will switch to a different type of cryptocurrency if they lose interest in Bitcoin. But I personally know that how blockchain  and cryptocurrencies will change the world.

In my opinion, I don't think people will lost its interest of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of all crypto currencies. Since there are those who are dedicated to buy and sell and others simply take advantage of their popularity to invest and get a return on their capital. The more they grow, the better it is for bitcoin's value because bitcoin has the ability called volatile that can be change anytime.

I might switch to ETH, because I think ETH is still more valuable after BTC than any other altcoin. but I'm sure bitcoin will never die. bitcoin remains the main altcoin.

I think there was a lot of new investors who just came because of the mainstream media hype. Those people are now out and sold their coins with loss, You will see this people probably never ever in cryptoworld. They are also spreading some bad news about investing in cryprocurrencies. I think since the correction, the are many people who are lost their interest in cryptocurrencies and sold their coins. Real investors of cours are staying ind and holding their coins. Maybe it will take some time, but there will be a Bullmarket again Wink

interest in bitcoin is unlikely to disappear, and there is an explanation for that. transaction delays occur while bitcoin is still not used massively to pay for goods and services, and given the fact that many people and countries want this and seek to legitimize bitcoin, even a small surge in demand for bitcoin as a means of payment can lead to serious delay and take the path of widespread introduction of the crypto currency.

Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
It never comes to my mind that bitcoin will die because  i believed that it will never happened because the popularity is still there even there are times that the value of bitcoin is decreasing. Many people are still love to invest in bitcoin than any cryptos.

It would be different if the bitcoin dies because the whole cryptos are completely rejected by the community. New and better technology will probably be the next trend. Depends on what causes bitcoin to die. If bitcoins die due to technical factors, one can switch to another crypto
Exactly bitcoin is not losing the hope but it is getting more and more famous and popular, all the time, so no one is going to lose the interest about bitcoin at all, most of the people are really hoped and confident that bitcoin will rise very soon, I am one of the bitcoin holder and I believe in bitcoin that bitcoin is going to do exactly what I am expecting form it this year, so no one according to me are losing interest bitcoin.

Firstly, why should bitcoin die? major owners will not allow this,
and secondly, if this happens, because bitcoin will be replaced by something more modern and meeting the requirements. In general, bitcoin has long been valued not for its manufacturability, but for the fact that it is bitcoin and everything.

The declining price certainly has a big impact on the development of bitcoin, and I hope giants and whales soon know this so they immediately pump bitcoin like last December.

People will not lose interest despite the actual low prices of crypto currency's market nowadays, because most of people know that this market is unstable and that the prices are very volatile, and studying the crypto charts since few years (and especially Bitcoin's chart) will show us that the prices go up and down all the time almost.

I think people are losing interest because bitcoin is constantly falling. well, in fact, it's not even very bad that bitcoin fell because after a while it will go to the top and wakes to stand a lot!

Despite all the news that affects the price, I also think that we are watching a game of whales.

Whales should pump the prices to get their profits for selling after but actually the price of this market are all going down and i think that isn't an activity of whale at all , i think it's just people are leaving this market by selling all their coins and BTC for fiats. That's really bad.

It seems to me that bitcoin and altcoins are very dependent on each other, and if bitcoin disappears, then altcoins will also cease to be relevant.

my opinion is also like that, if bitcoin can disappear then altcoin will also disappear because bitcoin alone which has so special foundation can be lost then how about altcoin which obviously development of bitcoin will also come but if in fact altcoin not disappear then i will invest in XLM
