Hello!
If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
The possibility of the bitcoin dying seems unreal to me, although I would expect a natural and gradual decadence that would lead it to be moved to a secondary place with the passage of time, which in my opinion would be quite optimal for the other altcoins, since this way their price could possibly be separated from the current big fluctuations of bitcoin and its value would depend on their own advantages and not merely on bitcoin speculation as has happened up to now. |

One thing I’ve been preaching for a long time is that Bitcoin ISNT THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN. If you truly understand cryptocurrency then you know that many Altcoins or “shitcoins” if you will, have been designed to be nothing like Bitcoin! Take for example Ethereum which is used for Smart Contracts it lets take IOTA which is a coin made specifically for the Internet of Things industry. Blockchain is also something that has caught on and has an entirely different life than Bitcoin (even though they were introduced to the world simultaneously).

I think if bitcoin dies, people won't feel loss of interest, but disappointment. Bitcoin is a great innovation nowadays in terms of money transactions and processing. I believe it is not even reaching everyone, but everyone in the world must know about this because this is the generation where you can do things easier and faster, including these cryptocurrencies. For me if bitcoin disappeared, the number of users will be dropped and altcoins will not function easily, I even think that after bitcoin's disappearance, others will slowly disappear as well. I can catch your point that saying they will disappointing if bitcoin die, however i think its right. This case is something different. First maybe people disappointing because they will loss chance to have great technology such bitcoin and loss hope to change the cons of fiat. In other side, people disappointing because they have investment in bitcoin and they loss everthing. |

No people have lost interest. And even the opposite is now the best time to invest in other currencies. Since many currencies depend on the position of bitcoins on the market.

I think for people who are crypto currency lovers they will not lose interest in crypto currency. those who like crypto currency will solve the problems that occur in the crypto currency.
I think if bitcoin dies people will choose ethereal to trade and invest.

I do not think bitcoin will die off as long as there are people who use it, but if that happens it will definitely affect the price of other altcoin like Ethereal or Litecoin whose price will decrease. actually when bitcoin dies there are still many thousands of altcoin that can replace it, although it will be affected if bitcoin die, but they will rise by itself because of the increasing popularity level among people. There is one altcoin that I think might replace bitcoin if one day bitcoin dies, that is Ethereum that more and more people start using it because its value is still developing and improving

First, I don't think bitcoin will die, not for now.
Second, if it happens, I will not lose interest but yes I will be disappointed just like what other say.
And if ever bitcoin dies, I will invest in ETH and LTC. We can see that it has good potential and it can also be a good investment just like bitcoin.

As i can see from so many aspect, price, popularity, great technology and many others, i dont think bitcoin will die so easy. It can be survive for more and more longer. However if its really happen, people will pull their investment in other currency and only loyal investor will stay in their investment. |

If bitcoin dies, I think other cryptocurrencies are not far, but bitcoin can not die. Of course, I would invest in ETH, BCH or LTC if bitcoin died and other cryptocurrencies were not affected, as well as some cryptocurrencies I considered potential because of my hope of cryptocurrency.

I don't agree with that because of two reasons. Firstable, Bitcoin won't die for a long time  Second, no matter of bitcoin or any other digital currencies will be used in future in whole world. It's a quite necessity, everything changes. Credit cards close to kill banknotes, digital currencies will kill credit cards |

Just like others who keep on telling in this thread that they don't see any reason for bitcoin to die, I will say the same thing. If that happens anyway, a lot will be affected including the economy. Well,cryptos for now may not yet be accepted by the government, but it does not mean that it doesn't affect the economy especially that it does help people to escape from financial jail. But we we will take a deep thinking and analysis if what will happen to the interest of people in investing cryptocurrencies when bitcoin die, I must say that they will surely invest to other coins again.

If bitcoin is no more, I would probably go with ethereum as it is being used for most ICOs. It has proven itself for the past few months and its resilience through the past years is not to be taken lightly. Not to mention it's currently top 2 in the cryptoworld.

chances are yes, because people prefer profits. If the bitcoin dies maybe people will invest Ethereal or Litecoin. But I do not think bitcoin will die, because if bitcoin dies altcoin might also suffer. And bitcoin can also help the economy, so it will never happen.

I don't think people will lose interest in Bitcoin.
I myself all about bitcoin to my friend and I thought it was not interesting , but when I learnt about bitcoin more and more I found it interesting and started to earn Bitcoin to trading.
Now that bitcoin has high prise and fame it is hard for me or anybody else to lose interest on it.

i think more than good news to hear bad news in now because fraud and scam news losing everyone's interest btc. but altcoins and new ideas for ico and new investments for big companies will be great and if the countries support a few more this things market always greeen |

Currently bitcoin is still a reference for altcoin, and if bitcoin dies, it takes a long time to recover the market. But I hope this will never happen. altcoin which I think worth keeping as an investment is litecoin and ethereum.

If Bitcoins lose or die. People do not lose interest in crypto because they back up in case they happen.
Ethereum the one I see that next bitcoins.

may be a very good question to ask since this price spike last week and it seems that many believe that bitcoin will grow much longer, that it will never stop, but if many people will be fooled by bitcoin I think interest in other crypto is also will make them think it will be the same. If ever bitcoin dies (nothing will happen I guess) I'll invest more about Ethereal and Monero maybe.
