There are still many alternatives at altcoin if later indeed bitcoin will die. ethereum will be one of the most superior coins and becomes the new option to invest if bitcoin right off.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
On the contrary, if bitcoin disappears, and when it disappears, people will find a substitute for it or a alts or a completely different mechanism. Time does not stand still, just like the thoughts of people who are ready to be enriched.
I still hope that this thing will not happen . If bitcoin dies, there will be other coin with a lot better feature and potential to replace it.

People will not let this thing happen simply because they believe on the technology of cryptocurrency and bitcoin leads them. Other currency will get worst trust score after knowing that bitcoin fell down and thats why people will start selling of every dam alt to save whatever they are left with for fiat currency

If bitcoin dies, I think the interest of the majority users of cryptocurrency will not fade away.Today, a lot of people who are into crypto currency only knows about bitcoin and even me, it was when I got to the forum I knew the existence of other coins but because bitcoin acceptance is beyond the people on the forum, it points to the fact they just lose interest in everything that happens in the crytpo world.

Many of us here really put an interest in crypto currency even FUD and risk involves. For everyday use, we can really depend on it because of faster transactions. People wont lose its interest to it because of this.Even if it's dies i won't lose interest because there are a lot of crypto currency you chose  from to continue your daily activities here.

I do not think so. Because I'm sure the people who are in this forum do not just rely on Bitcoin alone. But many other Altcoin also need to be championed, because Altcoin they think has a good prospect for the future.

I beg to differ, Bitcoins is the reason people come to crypto world, no bitcoins no one will care for alts. Alts are a waste of time and they'll disappear for sure. I feel Bitcoins has caught everyone attention and they should just leave it asap. No need to worry about this cause the king ain't going anywhere.

People have already lost interest in alts and it's only bitcoins for now and always.

Will it ever truly die completely? No, just like people where playing Pac Man arcade games 30 years later there will always be enthusiast who are interested and will devote their time to working with the tech and hopefully improving it. Will it have the same value as today, maybe/maybe not its impossible to tell but since the genie is out of the box  its unlikely Bitcoin will go away.

This things won't happen for some circumstances such as people are getting crazy in bitcoins due to adaptation and easy money, We all know that bitcoins are kinda addictive type of work where in you can invest and you can earn a good income while sitting pretty in front of the computer.  The majority loves bitcoin and i know many people will oppose if bitcoin died.

If bitcoin dies, I think the interest of the majority users of cryptocurrency will not fade away. The cryptocurrency is already in the system of internet. They will find a better altcoin that is not like bitcoin that died for whatever a reason.

Yes, because if this original crypto would die, how about the others. People will be afraid to invest in other crypto. Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptos, if this may die there were no crypto left.

ethereum seems to be an option if in fact the bitcoin dies. rich too far when talking about dead bitcoin, the sponge will not happen.

Yes but the OP is just skeptical that bitcoin will survive. To make things clear up, bitcoin is the beginning of cryptocurrency and been solid all year long since it was launched defying downturn and any sort of adversaries. Bitcoin will surely survive and for the sake of the OP, (if Bitcoin will be gone totally) I think i will invest more in either Ether or Litecoin and seems they are qualified to be the next Bitcoin too.

yes it will lose interest in other cryptocurrency. For me, if bitcoin died i won't invest in any cryptos but to stop and concentrate on my work as a teacher not to be involve in other cypto anymore.

It's depends to the people who holding bitcoin they have more effects if the bitcoin will die. I will invest in Ethereum as they are the second ranking if the bitcoin will die so ethereum will be taking the first place. Bitcoin will the one die but not the crypto currency. For me i cannot predict that i can be lose interest or not.

I don't  think so that bitcoin will die. Bitcoin is becoming more popular specially in the social  media.  There are more interested  to know more about bitcoin.

If btc will loose its value,  definitely there will be no more trading with bitcoin that may happen and investors will surely pullout their investment right away.

I think bitcoin is becoming less and less popular giving way to Ethereum. I think this is because Ethereum (unlike bitcoin) has a real economy.
